After 4 weeks of online tennis, where one associate says the card has been ordered to another saing it hasn't to even being cut off mid chat, somehow HSBC worked out that my card is at the branch.Upon going to collect, the young man who greeted me was quite dismissive, like he was in a hurry & it was a lot of effort to be helpful to a customer.Don't look down, nor at the hand rails, the whole place is filthy! Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks!

Les than enjoyable experience .an hour wasted whilst paying in cash , machines failed to work , nobody really knew how to fix the obvious problem. Less than what you might expect as a banking facility.

I would put no stars but i don't have this option. I am absolutely disgusted with how me and my partner were treated where do i start?we went into the Poole branch to set up our first joint bank account, with what is a nerve wracking experience as it is, anyway we were greeted with what i can describe the most patronising woman i have ever met in my life. Didn't catch her name unfortunately maybe Julie or something, an older woman grey hair quite short. She asked if we were sure we wanted to set up a joint account which we responded that were buying our first home so YES! she then went on to ask the same question not twice but 4 times as if we hadn't had the conversation ourselves!! "are you sure, because of what can happen?" "remember if you split up it will be really hard" To then mention what "most couples do is"After this we went on to the actual setting up the direct debit side of things and obviously we had some questions and i wanted to make sure i left feeling like i knew exactly when everything will be going in and out, she interrupted me mid way though a question and told me "can i just stop you there as im trying to set this up for you and cant concentrate on two things at once" then every time we asked a question she rolled her eyes and replied with a sarcastic response. Ive never felt so small in my life. Lastly, she spelt my partners name wrong on the letter, my partner then corrected her and said this wasn't his name to which she argued "i just put whatever was on the driving licence" she made my partner PROVE that this was not his name! She said at the end because my partner was with Lloyds it can take a week for his direct debits to be set up on the account, believe it or not two weeks later we rang because nothing was on the account, only to find out SHE DIDNT EVEN SET THIS UP so we very nearly had a missed payment! Disgusted isn't even the word.

Just drove 6 miles (as all the HSBC branches keep getting shut down) to my nearest branch in Poole. Had to pay to park nearby. Walked to the bank, the lady asked what I was there for, I said I would like to take out £3000, she said I can?t as it?s a Saturday. The most I was allowed was £1000. I asked why and she said they don?t have that sort of money on the premises (in a bank ?) so basically I?m not allowed my own money. She said come back Monday and it?s fine I can take it out. I asked if I had to order it or request it and she said no just turn up. I have never been so confused in my life. I have a business account and a personal account with HSBC and I think it?s time to change. Poor poor service!!!!

My card got hacked so I reported it and HSBC assured me that my card had been cancelled. The next day at quarter past nine in the evening I receive a text saying they have set me an emergency overdraft. I look into my account and I am £800 down. Money had left my account that day! When I was assured my card had been cancelled. Of course I am looking to respond out why thieves can access my money when I can't, so I contact their "24hours lost or stolen card line" on the back of my card, go through all of their machines and get told they are experiencing a high call volume, I get offered to speak to an agent, then get told to call back another time!!! Why text me after you're clearly shut, why waste my time taking me through machine after machine, why tell me you've cancelled my card when evidently you did not, why am I being charged overdraft expenses because your 24 hr card line is not 24 hrs!!!
