Excellent experience from start to finish. I am disabled and it was just as if the shop came to me. From the phone call to estimate. I was shown loads of samples . And kept up to date with fitting .excellent all round. Nice experience fitters.

Had the most awful & stressful experience with the Poole branch. We chose all our flooring and scheduled the days over 3 days for fitting etc. the first thing to do was levelling of the floor - I waited and waited still no one turned up, rang the branch and it?s discovered the fitter had a ?family emergency? and didn?t tell anyone he wasn?t turning up to any of his appointments, allowing hours of just waiting around for nothing. The day before the flooring is due to be fitted they ring and say they?ve messed up and don?t have the right amount of flooring for one of the rooms and I need to choose a different flooring. I did. When they eventually then came with this flooring along with another room that was set to be fit the same day, we discovered that they had cut the flooring the wrong way (wooden style flooring) therefore it couldn?t be put down. Which equated for further delays. It was one thing after another and to the incompetence of this store was like no other I?ve ever come across. I didn?t feel as though they were particularly apologetic and caused me a huge amount of stress as well as hours lost at work. Will never use carpet barn again on the basis of this terrible experience.

Fab experience with Carpet Barn team. First of all Martin from Ferndown Branch was very helpful and gave lots of advices. Then we were dealing with Steve from Poole branch who arranged for us a home visit to measure floors etc. The guy who came over was very polite and informative. Finally booking a day was easy and fitters had done fantastic job on our floor. Nice, tidy and promptly. Outstanding customer service. Thank you.

Drove 30 mins to buy a piece of vinyl floor. Only needed rerolling the other way but was told that we couldn't have it because the only guy in the store that could do it, had gone to lunch. But we could wait 40 mins for him to return! If you can't sell flooring then close for lunch or get more than one employee that can lift flooring as I wasted my fuel today. Not happy!

Fitter smashed lumps put of our fitted wardrobes and made a nasty bodged mess with filler (getting some on the carpet he'd just fitted too!)Their reply was that they accept no responsibility, but would offer a 15% discount off future purchases!Update: they have now offered £30 compensation. That might cover the cost of buying the new skirting boards, but it certainly isn't going to pay to have them replaced.

Carpet barn has been one of my go to places for flooring for at least 4+ years now, recently had experience using the Poole store and I can say without hesitation. I would not recommend for anyone to go anywhere else.Steve, Kurt & Dan have been fantastic,They have also gone that extra mile in assisting me & my partner, actually a place that cares about their customers!Do be patient always look around in the stock ends & from the carpet & vinyl stands you never know what?s around the corner.Without a doubt 5 stars all the way!

Great selection of carpets, you don't get pestered by pushy salesperson but they'll help when needed. Carpet delivered as promised.
