The lack of customer service at this Argos in Poole is disgusting.
Picked up a large item, no help, was not even asked if we needed help, just told need a trolley as they is no entrance to the back.
If you were on your own it would have been very difficult.
Think staff need to go on a customer service course.

Thank you to the young lady who didn't get fed up or roll her eyes ast night when I needed to quickly exchange a pet carrier. My pup really wasn't well, I brought the small one but it was tiny however it was 7.50 pm and normally I would have left for the following day but this was urgent as holding him wasn't helping him.

Absolutely shocking service. Bought a phone 4 days ago and they advised it would be ready to collect. Today I get a message telling me that the order has been cancelled. When I called customer service they say, ohh it was cancelled because it was sold out! So why did you take my money 4 days ago and them yell me its out of stock? Then they have the audacity to say go and order it again. Try explaining that to your 12 year old boy when this was Bought for his birthday. Absolutely fuming ?.

I've been living in Poole for the past nine months, I've probably ordered online and collected 50 items.
The staff have always been friendly, helpful and quick and I've never had to wait long.
Today I wanted to quickly get a mobile for a homeless person that needed a point of contact....the staff were amazing with their advice and I was done in 5 minutes.... thank you so much...you've helped someone in need more than you know !!

Ordered on lime working the shop. A member of the staff helped me with this. Later that day I received a text to say It was ready for pick up the next.

Worst Argos around, or shall I say the awful staff who are bringing it down. Customer service is terrible, rude, abrupt, they make you feel stupid. Go to a different shop if you have a product that is faulty because this place will do everything they can to not exchange or refund, even if your item is quite clearly faulty, they will tell you the online chat doesn't count & quoted by a rather rude woman in store "they just tell you anything to get rid of you, it's down to the store whether they take an item back or not"Avoid this store at all costs if you want to continue using argos, the most unhelpful rude young lad & woman I have ever come across.

Really poor customer service. Tried to return a faulty smartwatch (connectivity and battery issues) and they said I couldn't because it was "second hand". I tried to explain the situation but the manager who I was speaking with kept interrupting me and arguing. My husband had said to them I didn't like the watch as it didn't work properly and they seemed to be on a bit of a mission not to accept it back after that. I was a bit surprised as I visited the store on Saturday to ask about the faults on the watch and they had already told me I could return it so long as I reset it. I'm a bit confused about why I was now unable to.Having worked in retail for years when I was younger I know it can be difficult to deal with returns and possibly they were under pressure not to accept them or something, but the smirking and laughing together while I was asking what to do next made me feel really upset.Anyway I was able to return it at another store and they took it back no problem. I'm so surprised at the rude behavior. I probably won't return to this store, it made me feel sad and uncomfortable. Maybe they were having a bad day, who knows

Had an unbelievably poor experience at this store last week.Bought an item which I was not happy with. It was £300 and of really poor quality, really slow and with entire areas of operation not working. I went to return it and the shift manager working told me that as it was used I couldn't return it.The manner of this staff member was obnoxious, rude and totally inept. She couldn't explain what Argos definition of used was (item was immaculate but she didn't bother to check), she couldn't explain how I could have checked the quality without starting up the item, couldn't explain how Argos could refuse to meet their legal requirement under the Consumer Rights act and every time I tried to explain the problems with it she kept interrupting me and speaking over me to say that it's used so I can't return it. I left expecting that I'd have to take it to another store and lie about the condition to get my money back.Spoke to Argos customer service who confirmed that I am entitled to a refund based on the problems I'm having and told me to take it to a different store (plus they gave me a voucher as apology for the rubbish service). Took it to a different Argos who accepted the return with no issue. When I mentioned the problems with the Poole store they smiled and gave me a very knowing look. They didn't say anything but their manner makes me think that the bad service at Poole is a known issue.Glad to get my problem sorted, but my god I can't believe how terrible that employee was.
