I was very well attended by a male employee with glasses, besides being rude, he made me wait more than 15 minutes to open the cash register, and he even answered the satisfaction survey for me.

Back to Lidl's for me! I've done 3 weekly shops here and I've saved money but I'll avoid here from now on. It's around the corner from work so ideal for convenience and savings but every time I've visited after 7pm it's self serve only.
The self serve system is very clunky and it's frustrating when doing a big weekly shop. You often see one or two staff available and having a bit of banter with security or helping shoppers with the self serve rather than opening up a till which seems mad. I'd rather wait an extra 5 minutes and avoid the stress by shopping at Lidl

Not much variety, a lot of stuff was unavailable. Overall not a good experience, you can go to a nearby Sainsbury or an ASDA both within walking distance from ALDI.

young cashier treated me like air, very bad service from him. I have never been treated like that in front of other people. I talked to him and he pretended that I was air. I pointed out to him that he wrote the wrong number on the receipt and he said - I don't know anything and he gives me the receipt and left! I asked for the manager and he tells me to wait, maybe he will come out someday. I am disappointed and embarrassed.

What is wrong with Aldi in Poole?
I shopped at Aldi Poole, Pitwines Cl this afternoon (15:08:10). The cashier, a blonde woman with an Eastern European accent, was extremely rude. He shouted !? that why I didn't pay for those few items (9 items, one was bulky) at the automatic cash register because his working hours had already expired. I was completely shocked, I asked him what are you doing, I'm a customer, but he was completely out of his depth.
Yesterday, at a similar time, a man was a money changer, also rude. He didn't shout, he just looked angry.
Before anyone thinks I was rude,1 wasn't. am polite and smiling with the cashiers. If there is a camera recording, they can check it.
I'm really worried about going to Aldi in the future.
