In tiny little Piddlehinton lies this gem of a pub. We had the lamb and the crab and crayfish linguine, which were absolutely delicious ? cooked perfectly and full of flavour. We shared the brownie for dessert, which was also delicious. Tried going back for the roast but they said they're fully booked weeks in advance, a head's up if you're looking to go specifically for that. We'll be sure to come back next time we're in Dorset.

Sunday lunch, booked at random. Fantastic value for money for a truly excellent roast ( you can have a three meat option ?) We would happily visit again.

Thank you for a wonderful Sunday lunch and for squeezing us in after you had a last minute cancellation.
The food was fantastic for adults and children.
The service by your staff was exemplary, rarely found these days.
It was a pleasure to leave a well deserved gratuity, rather than finding it including in the bill.

Busy local pub restaurant. Booking required. Easy online booking. We both had pies. One had the chicken pie which was full of meat. I had the vegetarian veg pie. Very tasty and they didn't make the common mistake of over compensating the flavour with salt and pepper. Good veg. Our own jugs of gravy so could decide how much we wanted, which in our case is a lot. Dessert choice good and good portion size. I couldn't finish my chocolate mousse which is a rare occurrence. My husband mentioned it was our anniversary and we were given some fizz, a nice touch. Served by a pleasant young man. Overall a great experience.
Vegetarian options: Good choice
Separate vegetarian and vegan menu. Also gf available.
