Enjoyed the tea shop yesterday afternoon. This was the second time we have visited and it was worth the short detour from the A35 on our way back from Cornwall to Hampshire.
Great service and lovely home cooked food.
Attractive tea garden or inside cafe. Free parking outside and dog friendly too.
It is always on our short list if we are anywhere near Lyme Regis.

My wife and I had a very pleasant five night stay here in June. We had a good-sized room at the back overlooking the River Lim Valley. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. My wife particularly liked the toiletries which were provided. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts were excellent and cooked to order. The Lim valley is fairly easily accessible and the walk into Lyme Regis is lovely. By car, Lyme Regis is only a few minutes drive and other places of interest like Beer, Seaton, West Bay and Golden Cap are not far away. We very much hope to return again before too long.

Just an amazing place to eat. Not only the scenery was beautiful, the venue was outstanding. The service was wonderful even though they were very busy. The food was out of this world. So tasty, well presented and the price of it all was incredibly value for money. I cannot praise this tea room, (well it?s more than just a tea room) enough! They couldn?t do enough for us. Five adults, one baby and a dog, who were all catered for. Thank you so much. We will be back.

Accidentally came across this guesthouse/tearoom whilst staying in Axminster. We Sat in the pretty garden with our dog on a lovely day. The homemade cheese scones were absolutely delicious, best I?ve ever tasted. The bread roll my hubby had was also homemade and looked as good. The man who cooked the food (sorry didn?t get your name ) was very friendly and courteous, he even came out to give our little dog a treat. Wish I had found the tea room earlier in our stay. I highly recommended it.
