We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a rural location about a ten minute drive from Lyme Regis. Our ensuite room was very clean and comfortable and there is a good choice for breakfast. Our host Sue is lovely. It's like staying with a friend. We plan to return.

Arrived at Nettlebank, for a 3 night break away with my husband and 2 teens. We were greeted walmy by the host Sue and her husband, Terry. The rooms were beautiful and were spotless. Our double room had an unsuite which was modern and again spotless. The girls room, a twin room, was also lovely and over looked amazing views of the countryside. The rooms were quiet and calming. Sue, was a great host and served a lovely breakfast , we could literally have what we fancied, nothing was too much! Nettlebank is perfectly situated , to explore East Devon. We had a lovely break away and would highly recommend Nettlebank. Thank you Sue and Terry.

We took a weekend break to Lyme Regis and spent 3 nights at Nettle Bank B and B , Met by Sue (the owner) on arrival. Our double room was spacious and overlooking a lovely garden and hill view. Spotlessly clean , our bathroom and toilet was not en-suite but this had no effect on our stay . Breakfast was great , freshly cooked as we requested by Sue , a brilliant host and very helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Would definitely recommend 5*

Very warm and friendly hosts with a sense of feeling like home from home. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. Nothing is too much trouble for Sue and her breakfasts are excellent! If there?s anything you need all you need to do is ask and Sue will endeavour to assist. This is our second time at Nettlebank and will definitely return ?

A very pleasant B&B in a beautiful location run by a lovely lady. Sue looked after us really well and made our stay a relaxing and enjoyable one. She was also a great help with information on the local area and proved to be an invaluable ally in getting us a table at the brilliant local pub at short notice! Our excellent breakfast offered cereal and a full English every day and set us up nicely for our trips out. The room was fine with a pleasant view out across the front garden and everything was clean and in good order. What more could you want!?

excellent location for exploring the nearby towns/beaches/countryside; the room was clean and perfectly adequate for what we needed - however bathroom is tiny; breakfast was good and the landlady provided useful tips for exploring the local countryside; we used local taxi to take us to/from town in the evening and it only takes about 7 mins; can highly recommend it

Fantastic B & B hosted by Sue. We stayed here for the first time while visiting family. Home from home comforts, lovely clean room (found the biscuits in the draw, yummy) Lovely breakfast, beautiful views into the garden, parking on site, just a great place to stay while visiting Lyme. We shall be back.

Fabulous B & B just outside of Lyme. We had a 3 night break here & were delighted with our room & home comforts. Soft towels, well stocked tea/coffee tray, excellent breakfast & a comfy bed. What more do you need !! A very welcoming host (Sue) who took care of us during our stay. "Thank you, we shall return"

Lovely friendly welcome Room was comfortable and clean. Fabulous views across the valley towards River Cottage HQ. The full English breakfast was beautifully cooked. Tea and coffee facilities in the room with fresh milk! Good value for money.
