Fossil walk - friendly team and on hand to check our finds. Really helpful intro before we set off too.Amazingly, between us, we had a few good finds. One was way too big to take home. Great for kids aged 0-100

Absolutely brilliant day thanks to the museum. We booked onto one of the guided fossil walks and had a fantastic time, finding lots of ammonites and belemnites. The guides were all extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and our lead guide was very funny too. We also went round the museum afterwards (included in the price of the guided walk) which was lovely. It's full of fascinating displays of fossils, historic photos of Lyme, and even information about films/books inspired by or set in the area.

Worth a visit. As well as the history lesson and fossil story there's Kate Blanchets costume and the architecture within the building is impressive too in its own little way

Interesting local history. Run by a charity that is struggling to update the exhibition due to difficulties in finding funds. I hope they achieve the funds they require as there is great potential for this museum.Included was an interesting town tour.

I've been to many great Museums in my time, this is not one of them. The Museum is an Edwardian building on the site of fossilist Mary Anning's former home. So you would think it would be full to the brim with Mary Anning fossils, but no. The Museum has three floors, and the 3rd floor has nothing but two plastic dinosaurs to look at. On a positive note the position in great and the staff were friendly.

A great small museum. Lots of interesting information crammed into a small space. Lots about Geology and Fossils, but plenty about the history of the town as well.
