Popped in on Friday 15th Aug hoping to get some food without a booking, the staff were very friendly and got us a table for two.
We had an absolutely FANTASTIC meal, 2 pies with all the trimmings, all hot, fresh and beautiful quality.
Well done all involved, the friendly staff and the kitchen crew, keep producing these kind of meals and we'll keep coming back..............many thanks :)

Pub on the seafront with excellent selection of beers. Food was great and the staff were lovely. Great place to have a chill and a beer in the sun after the beach. Only thing that would improve it is if they had WiFi, hardly a deal breaker!

Although I have known of this pub for many years, this was our first stay.
The room was very clean and the staff efficient friendly (they made our stay a real pleasure) We couldn't fault the food and the full English hits the spot.
There was a slightly quirky arrangement with the hair drier, which passes through a hole in the back of the dresser drawer. But this is probably more a reflection on the public than the pub. All in all, a cracking B&B right next to the Cobb.
It was the start of the busy summer season, and sometimes, youths and seagulls kicked up a noise. Normal seaside hazard really, but could annoy some.
We'll be back for sure.

Had a good night here , very dog friendly ; allowed in rooms too . Very friendly staff . WiFi worked well . Breakfast was good . They also did a full English breakfast gluten free !
Deserve custom ! I will endeavour to return .

Took my mum down to Lyme Regis as it's her favourite local seaside . Stopped at the Cobb for lunch with no great expectations but hey it was very nice , friendly staff we had scampi and chips and Hake and chips both nicely served up at our table food looked good and tasted even better well above seaside pub fare the white wine a Marlborough was also good served at the right temperature in a decent glass, and finally to top it off the coffee was also good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars not 5 is the complete lack of views from inside the pub , I believe you can see out of two of the window on the sea side.
