Excellent hotel with a good restaurant, lovely sea views from the rooms ,hotel nice, clean, with good staff, and lovely gardens to sit in car parking is £10 on site ,wheelchair access difficult.Rooms: Nice views very clean.

We stayed at The Alexandra for a second time on our traditional winter visit to Lyme Regis and we really are very fond of this hotel! The rooms are warm and comfortable and, as it was quiet, we were delighted to be upgraded to one on the first floor overlooking the garden and sea. The place feels both stylish and homely and is really pleasant to spend time in when the weather outside is less than clement. I think they were a bit short-staffed during our visit, which meant the occasional short wait to get served at the bar and at reception, but all the staff were really friendly, efficient and helpful. We would happily recommend and return.

I cannot remember if it was our fourth or fifth visit, but it was great to see that your standards as high as they were the first time, we stayed with you about ten years ago. Beautiful traditional hotel on the top of the cliff and a short walk down to Lyme Regis bay. Amazing 5 star restaurant in the Hotel with a stunning atrium setting for evening dinner. Staff are everything you'd expect from a high end hotel. Can't fault it.

EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR STAY AT THIS LOVELY HOTEL WAS GOOD. THE LOCATION AND HOTEL GROUNDS WERE ATTRACTIVE. ALL MEALS INCLUDING BREAKFAST AND EVENING MEALS WERE OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD. WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AND WOULD CERTAINLY RETURN AGAIN.

My partner and I came for the Sparkling Afternoon Tea, amazing food and drink and our waitress Mall (that may not be the correct spelling!) was so lovely and attentive from the start to the end, highly recommend for a classy and relaxing experience!

Stayed here for 2nights from the 22nd Sept, as we were here to release our mothers ashes at sea. So really wanted a relaxing, stress free stay. Exactly what I experienced. The room we booked in to had sea & garden views. Room was comfortable spacious and quiet. I want to give a huge thank you to Alex for arranging this. Unfortunately I didn?t get to meet you in person as you were on annual leave, but I did meet Sally and Kylie? who were wonderful. Will definitely highly recommend staying here and the breakfast was superb. Made my weekend so stress free. Thank you so much

A rare find, like treasure. The hotel and gardens are tucked away at the top of the high street. The lawns, garden and view are possibly Lyme?s best kept secret. Panoramic views to die for. Quintessentially British for beverage and lunch service. Our favourite spot to recharge and refuel. Long may it continue. Thank you Lou and Digby

My husband and I have had the most lovely relaxing weekend at the Alexandra Hotel, from arriving to leaving we loved our stay. The room was well appointed & bed very comfortable, breakfast & other meals in the restaurant were delicious.. the staff friendly & attentive. Many thanks & we will be back soon

The Alexandra Hotel is a lovely place for a relaxing seaside break in an ideal location in Lyme Regis. It has gorgeous gardens over looking the sea where you can have a cream tea or a drink and there are lots of quiet places to tuck yourself away. The hotel is immaculately clean, the rooms are very comfortable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The room that breakfast is served in has amazing views of the sea and breakfast is reliably good. There is also parking (albeit occasionally quite a squeeze) if you book it in advance.
