What a lovely old pub.
We had a great day round the castle and brought my Wife and kids to the Fox.
All of the staff were friendly, polite and professional. Lovely to chat to.
The food was spot on.
I had a lovely pie, nice big fat chips cooked perfectly. The pie was hot, the pastry was not too light and not too heavy. Filling lovely and tasty.
My wife had a vegetarian dish which was beautiful.
The kids had fish and chips, I tried the fish and the batter was perfect. Light and crunchy without being at all greasy.
A lovely selection of ales, I could?ve stayed the night and drank a lot more!!!

Lovely quality food in a pretty quiet garden. Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was as usually in touristy places, the food quality goes down. We enjoyed our lovely relaxing lunch on a Friday.

Visited 3 time's in the week that we stayed in Corfe 3 great meals and friendly staff what more could you ask for.

Small pub, outdoor and indoor space. If you order from the grill you?ll be given a buzzer to get the food from the grill down at the bottom of the garden. Food was good, surprised the burger didn?t come with chips. However, after we ate we were still hungry and were going to order chips and dessert but they?d already closed the kitchen. There was a lot of people still trying to order food, so this was a major let down. There weren?t great views of the castle either. Wouldn?t recommend coming here unless you?re desperate.

Fantastic meal at The Fox. The food was of a very high standard. A refreshing change from the almost universal pub menus of burgers! Staff were so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous old pub with a surprisingly lengthy garden complete with a perfect full view of Corfe Castle. The barman made us so welcome, he couldn't have been more helpful. We ordered Pappardell with spicy tomato topped with watercress. Shame the pasta was too chewy.

Great little quirky place. Slightly different as when you first walk in the front door, you walk into the snug seating area. Then through to the bar, when you?re greeted by plenty of lovely staff and the owner Melissa. You NEED to ask her about the secret JD bar they have upstairs. More seating in the bar area and more than enough in the garden where they often have the BBQ hut open at the bottom.

I think this is the best pub in the village. Lovely local ales on the pumps, fabulous beer garden to the rear interior looked cosy, staff polite and chatty. Not eaten yet but food looked very good with decent portions.
