HIGHLY recommend and will defo be back! Thanks to the team for a really warm welcome and for their great service throughout the evening! The food was absolutely incredible and the whole place is stunning. The garden is beautiful too. Love it!

Popped into this pub recently for a drink
Was face by a rude obnoxious little man called Stuart who i was informed was the owner !
Seriously this man has zero people skills.
My advice people is to use other local pubs nearby dont waste your money in here.

We were staying for a weekend break and went here for dinner on the Friday evening. A lovely pub, huge garden area and fantastic food. The service was really good too so we booked in for Sunday lunch. Again it was fantastic. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great pub in a nice location with an extensive beer garden. Didn't eat but food looked good. One annoying thing - £5 for a pint of coca cola (?) from the tap! Excessive.

These guys are just the best! They fitted us in at the last moment on our journey through along the A303.
Beyond excellent quality of food and menu choice.
Everything was utterly delicious and perfect.
It?s suitably priced for the quality of ingredients and its cookery.
Really special place.
I just wished we lived nearer to this gorgeous inn.

We stopped for lunch at this pub before heading to north Devon. What a fabulous and superbly decorated Inn .
We had our dog with us , we sat in the garden at the front . A member of staff popped over with a bowl of water for our dog ( a great touch and appreciated ) .
My husband had a curry and I had the pie . These were REALLY tasty and fresh , filled us up for the rest of our journey .
A super friendly environment and great ambience about the place .

Cosy, welcoming pub with beautiful gardens and 1st rate food! We were staying at Stourhead and picked the White Lion because it was close by.. what luck! Asparagus ravioli with Dolcelatte sauce and candied walnuts - If I had this plate of food in Venice at twice the price I would have been happy!

Incredible meal had by all, all of our plates were empty at the end. It was generally a very memorable experience. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We came across this pub while travelling an they managed to find us a suitable table to accommodate our 18month old too. They allowed us to wait in their beautiful pub garden with drinks until our food was ready at the table. The garden was filled with beautiful flowers, umbrellas and chickens and ducks at the top of the garden which amused our kids.
The menu was the perfect size with delicious specials that made it hard to choose what to est as there was so much choice. We all loved our meals and wish we could come back.
One thing that we really appreciated was the kitchen being so accommodating with offering our young kids alternative dessert of custard and fruit that was off the menu. This was much appreciated. Highly recommend this pub if you want a welcoming, comfortable, delicious meal.
