I'm so pleased that I've changed to this pharmacy. The ladies I've dealt with have been wonderfully kind and helpful. The Pharmacist really wants to be of assistance and I feel lucky to have this facility.

Rudest staff I have ever encountered. Having terminal cancer and being deliberately left waiting for much needed meds,the staff should question why people resort to intolerance of really shocking,uncaring and judgmental staff?..even 1 star is too many!

They had NO internet for 4 days at LEAST!! Even I would be able to get someone out to fix my internet, what?s worse is that I had an emergency prescription and they can?t even return it to the spine! ?

It is a shame to see some people not happy etc, but I must be honest, I was in need of getting my medication after an online company was beyond useless, so very slow and I needed my amended medication asap. I called to sort it out with the surgery so I could collect from here instead and then it was sent to The barn surgery Pharmacy. couple of calls and very friendly, walked in and got my prescription the same afternoon. Friendly staff and all very streamlined. so many people require medication, so they naturally have many orders to fulfill. Thanks so much to the staff today for your help in getting my Meds sorted. x

Worst service I have ever received , wait hours don?t have what you need, always lots of unhappy people waiting, different staff everytime and last time I was verbally abused by a staff member called on my personal number and banned from all pharmacies in my town. Absolutely appalling

I had no problems with this pharmacy for 5 years. However, in the last few months, the service has been terrible. Prescriptions not ready even after a week, let alone the allocated day, queues not seen since Covid started, and any reasonably healthy snail would be able to outpace the counter assistant. They seem to have new staff who have no idea how to work efficiently or give decent customer service.

A year ago this was a happy, bustling pharmacy. No more. Descended recently into new heights of poor customer service and incompetence. Queues and more queues often of elderly people left in the rain, with a stunning lack of sense of urgency. Still taking a lunch break and totally clueless as to real life impact their poor attitude and clear inability to consider actually changing behaviour and working practices to manage backlogs. The pharmacists hide in the back processing at a glacial pace while a rather rude and clearly inept receptionist does her best to lengthen wait times. If it wasn?t so utterly annoying it would be sad.

I have used this pharmacy for years and years and never had any cause for complaint before, However, their was an extraordinarily rude pharmacist this afternoon, evidently chosen for her freedom from the constraints of courtesy and competence.

Really shocked with the rudeness of a staff member in The Barn Pharmacy! I haven?t seen this particular person before and was snapped at as I went in - ?when did you order it?!??when answering Thursday I got a curt ? well you haven?t left 3 working days - you?re lucky you got it!? I was taken aback somewhat as Thursday morning till Monday afternoon is 3 working days. This ?lady? was extremely rude and had no customer service. (Ruth I believe) the other ladies there Amy and Sharon are great and really friendly but this lady was not. ? such a shame on the opening day of the surgery.

Unbelievably rude. No "hello", no "thank you" and no "good bye". I'm sure not all members of staff are as rude as the woman who served me (today at approximately 12.40), but she was representing this pharmacy so that's all I can go on. I only went here because the other pharmacy was closed for the day; next time I'd much rather pay the fuel to go to Stalbridge or Wincanton. I have a hidden disability (I showed her my sunflower lanyard) but she continued to talk to me like something on the bottom of her shoe. Nasty woman! On top of this, the product I bought was priced considerably higher than in any other pharmacy I've used in the area. In short, AVOID!

I've used this pharmacy for 6 years now. They are very efficient and have very good covid protocol in force.I did phone up once to find out if my script was ready and was promptly told I don't have time for this and the phone was put down on me. I do understand they are under pressure but there is no excuse for blatant rudenessI have noticed there does seem to be a quick turn over of staff. I wonder why.A smile goes a long way. Try it!!
