Johnsons moved me a couple of months ago and I can only say they took a lot of the stress out of what was a very stressful time. They were extremely professional, efficient, cheerful, nothing being too much trouble. They packed and moved me over two days and Paul Braddock arranged (& I suspect moved heaven and earth to accommodate me!), at very short notice, as there was so little lead time between my exchange and completion date, for some of their team (I think Adam headed up that team of 4 men?), to come down from London to Dorset to carry out the packing and move and enable everything to run smoothly.A huge thank you and appreciation to all involved.

I am delighted to be able to write this review of a company that truly deserves the highest praise, from the hands-on experienced Shaun who surveyed our contents to be moved, Paul who co-ordinated the move and gave us every confidence that Johnsons could handle our complicated move, to the hardworking and professional team who filled the 2 Vehicles with the contents of our home and business - Martin, Chris, Lewis and their colleagues (I'm sorry that I don't remember all their names). They all worked incredibly hard with good humour and camaraderie over the 3 days and 160 miles it took to relocate us.If I ever decide to move again, I will be asking Johnsons to undertake the task.

Booked 2 of their lads and a van for 2 hours and it went like a dream. Would defo recommend or use again. The booking experience was easy too, very responsive admin person.

It's just under a month now since we completed our removal and may we say how glad we were that we chose a local company with knowledge of the challenges at the Shaftesbury end. Shaun drove over to north Somerset for the estimate, and made helpful suggestions. We then used small vans over three days across the week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and this worked very well.The removal teams, led by Martin, worked very hard and efficiently, with good humour, solving problems as they went.We can't pretend there weren't a couple of small damage issues, probably caused by less experienced members of one team, but the ensuing conversation with Paul was amicable and the fault was acknowledged and accepted.We'd certainly recommend them for a move to or from this area.

The Johnsons team were not just a delight to be around, they were incredibly professional & effective. We moved a large house & garden from Surrey to Dorset and the Johnson team made a very stressful experience bearable. Mark was brilliant and led the team of Martin, Lewis and Chris calmly and diligently. The whole operation was really impressive and we felt reassured by their competence - and their pride in doing a good job. The price was quite expensive, but it was worth every penny for the peace of mind and the removal of stress. Well done Mark and team and also Paul in the office. 100% recommend.

used the team this week to move from Westbury to Westbury, Mark and the rest of the lads were great from start to finish. nothing was too much trouble and made the move so easy and stress free, one of the things that makes services is so good is when you have a great team who work well together and these guys were certainly that. a huge thanks to them.

Just wanted to thank Luke, Chris and Kevin who have helped my parents move homes last week. They were all very professional, friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much hassle for them and they did a great job moving between the two houses. Everyone was very polite and communication was great throughout. It helps that they are a happy chatty bunch too. We would not hesitate to use Johnsons of Shaftesbury again in the future and would highly recommend them to everyone who needs help moving.

Luke and his team helped my mother in law move this Friday and they were nothing short of amazing! They were careful with everything, quick and very friendly. They went above and beyond what was needed and we couldn?t have been more thankful. I would recommend them and Johnson?s of Shaftesbury to any one moving in the local area and we will definitely use them again!

A fantastic service. Nick, Lewis and Chris were amazing and really pleasant to be around. The logistical difficulties of manoeuvring our belongings into a cottage didn't phase them. It was a really long day and they remained cheerful throughout. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely use again.

Luke and the team drove up to Bath to assist with our move. We initially booked with Thomas Firbank in Bath, but were told when they arrived they are part of the same group of companies and occasionally cover each others areas when times are busy.I couldn't have asked for any more from the gentlemen that arrived on the day. They moved items with care and went above what had been asked from them. I found them all to be polite, with a good sense of humour, which made it into an enjoyable experience.I'll be booking Johnson's directly in the future! Many thanks

I have used Johnsons for removal and storage on more than one occasion, the reason being they are professional, reliable and helpful. Moving can be stressful so their courteous staff are much appreciated. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely brilliant - cannot recommend highly enough. So professional, so helpful, so efficient. Amazing stuff from Luke and the team. Also, the initial communication was absolutely great as well. If you are moving to or from the area Johnsons are the people to use.

We were recommended Johnson's by a friend who moved with them a few months back, and they were as good as our friends said. Paul originally came out to quote and discuss the process in detail which was helpful. Then on the day, Martin and his team arrived promptly, packed carefully and in the order we wanted. Their cheerful disposition and friendly natures made the whole process much easier. We can't believe how quickly they packed up a whole house! Thank you Johnson's, we will certainly recommend you.

Paul at Johnsons worked with us through unexpected delays to our move and the move itself which took two days went extremely well. Thank you to Mark and his team for all their hard work and the care they took packing up our premises, including equipment. From everyone at Edge Energy who were saved a huge amount of stress!
