I was looking for a book for my grandson and was really impressed with the young man who could see my confusion as to the vast array of books on display. He recommended a few books, which he had personally read and so I was able to make a choice knowing firstly that they were age related and secondly be current and appealing to my grandson. Thank you. I have ordered books from Waterstones a few times. They have always been promptly sent and very well packaged. At one point I bought a book that was not as expected so asked my nearest branch if I could exchange it. No problem. The whole thing was as simple as it could be and the member of staff I saw was very kind and helpful. Far from being a nightmare it was a very happy ending. Well done Waterstones. I would certainly order from you again and when possible delve further in to my nearest branch.

A well maintained book shop with very friendly, helpful staff. In a digital age where paper literature is less popular, these guys are making a Stirling job of keeping the traditional reading platform alive. Kids love books because parents killing the wifi after bedtime has no effect on their sneaky story consumption.

I do enjoy browsing a lovely bookshop. One thing Waterstones, you have a lovely window display of books. So why do you not make a display of the books displayed in the window just inside the door. So annoying that you have got to search the whole shop when you see something that attracts you. Many a time I have just walked back out.

Absolutely brilliant shop! The staff were so unbelievably helpful. Although they didn't have what we were looking for, one lovely member of staff, Katherine, went above and beyond to help me find the book. We eventually found it in a Glasgow branch, who we were able to call and pay over the phone to have the book delivered to us. This allowed us to get the book we wanted for a birthday present. Absolute super star! Thank you ??
