the cheapest place to buy books, always have new releases and a huge variety of books. staff are always friendly and helpful too.

The works at the high street deals with the supply of art supplies, craft materials, reading books, jigsaw puzzles, stationary, kids toys and a variety of kids and adult books.A good store for birthday gifts too. The staff is amazing and very helpful.

Blessed be The Works for it was in this holy chapel that I first discovered the light of "Big cats of Dorset and Devon shot on bad quality film: resulting in a grainy and blurry photo" by Mr Reginald Leonphucker. This book has since adorned every coffee table I own and makes for a salacious conversation starter. How little did I know before I knew that such a beautiful book could be purchased for £2.99 in such a holy place. I fear that I may never enter the works again but the short time I had with it was wonderous and beautiful.

I was broken man, life was getting me down, the man was at the door asking for his dime, the days where long and the hours hard and the sky's gray.I will never forget the the day I saw the works, the clouds parted and the sun scattered through the trees and avenue. A spring hare flopped across the street and a single tear of joy ran down my face upon finding it, the holy grail, the uplifting sanctity and sanctuary, and of course the universe by Brian Cox for only 7 pounds, I was saved, that day changed melong live the works

The Works is where I met my mentors Alabama Mike and Pig Tail Dave. They learned me how many fountains pens one man can conceal in their body and if you pick up a book about serial killers and hold it above your head the staff at the works will let you walk straight out the front door. Daddy loves

Great for kids books and for adults books. Art supplies, stationery, jigsaws, board games, kids toys, anxiety toys. Its also AMAZING for birthday gifts. The stationery last longs and is a great price! Definitely recommend coming here for stationery before going to whsmiths so u know ur getting a good deal. The staff are polite and helpful.
