1st time in this restaurant and the Thai attitude & hospitality is immediately obvious - very friendly and attentive service indeed. We chose "Anna's Banquet" - the V/VE option. The starters were delicious as was our desert of fried banana. The main course was a feast of vegetable dishes... We could not eat them all!
Overall a very good experience. If I had one criticism it would be that the vegetables were partly very crunchy = almost undercooked.
But overall a very positive experience and we will return... Trying some meat dishes and ordering individually. ?
Good value for money too.
Vegetarian options: Anna's banquet (minimum of 2) and options throughout the menu.
Parking: There are parking spaces nearby. Expect however a short walk to the restaurant.

An absolute gem of a restaurant. The price/quality ratio is spot on. The staff are so welcoming and friendly,and you can feel their passion that goes into making sure you have a good time. Really good portion sizes, the food felt very fresh and fragrant and we're definitely going back

Last minute booking that didn?t disappoint.
After only hearing good things about this restaurant and finding ourselves in Dorchester we managed to get a table for 2.
Great attentive service, food was full of flavour and served hot! Lots of choice and authentic Thai dishes. Very and reasonably priced.
We will be returning.

I was sad to see that there was no loo for people who are disabled. This is not okay. Loos are up a flight of stairs.

I recently ordered takeaway from The King and Thai in Dorchester, and once again, they exceeded all expectations. The peanut satay chicken was absolutely amazing ? packed with rich, nutty flavors that were perfectly balanced. The chicken Phad Thai was equally fantastic, with all the authentic taste and freshness you?d hope for in a top-quality Thai dish.
As someone with coeliac disease, it?s often a challenge to find places that can easily cater to gluten-free diets. The King and Thai made it so easy and ensured everything was safe for me, which I truly appreciated. It?s a relief to have a place where you can enjoy incredible food with complete confidence.
This family-run gem in Dorchester is a must-visit (or must-order from!). Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area!
