Used to go here a lot and the food was always great. Been a couple of times in recent months and its gone downhill A LOT. Had a burger and it was the cheapest nastiest burger patties you can buy (I know this as I used to run a burger takeaway shop), it was vile. Won't be back again.

The Countryman is under new management, the new owners and staff are great.Food is very good and served quite quickly, the pub has a nice relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of wine beer and spirits. Family and dog friendly, with a nice outdoor play area.
