A proper pub. Excellent, home cooked food. Excellent beer. Interesting decor with some humour including Private Eye front pages. May not be attractive to young ones who can't entertain themselves. Highly recommended. Bookings advisable if eating, especially on weekends.

Stopped by for a drink. Lovely proper pub! Highly recommended. We didn't eat so I can't comment on the food.
