Very poor experience dealing with this agency. I contacted them with a polite and professional enquiry about a vacant commercial unit. The reply from Jan Merriott was blunt ? simply stating the property was under offer, with no greeting or proper engagement. I followed up to express that I?d still be interested if the current deal fell through, and his second reply was sarcastic and dismissive: ?OK, I?ll let you know if it falls through.?
Maybe he was having a bad day, but that doesn?t excuse treating potential customers with such an arrogant and unprofessional attitude. That kind of reply really killed my mood ? it left me feeling dismissed and disrespected for no reason. I expected much better from someone working in commercial real estate. Based on this experience, I wouldn?t recommend dealing with this agency at all.

I have worked with Stuart and team over the last 9 months regarding the sale of my mother's property in Dorset. After the initial meeting we agreed to take the photos and produce the marketing materials ready for sale. We did not put the house on the market straightaway, but when we did it sold very quickly. I have always felt that they are grounded and realistic about sale prices, helpful and responsive. Another VERY positive review for Stuart and the team at the Dorchester office. In fact I think the team pretty much sold our property whilst Stuart was on holiday, and within a week of it going on the market. A great leader is always backed up by a great team! Thank you all.
A complication arose in the process but Stuart's calm influence kept everything on track, with a completion ahead of what I thought was a punchy target date. Very satisfied and would definitely instruct again.

Symonds and Sampson were the Agents acting for the owners of the property I was buying, so it made sense to choose them to also sell my property. At all times they have been knowledgable, professional and helpful. The process of selling my house was fraught with difficulty over a period of nine months, but I always felt that Kate was there to give her expert advice and active support. If ever I needed support or advice when she was out on a viewing or otherwise not in the office, Rebecca, in her role as receptionist, found the help I needed and ensured that I was well looked after. I cannot praise this team highly enough; I received from them a Rolls Royce service.

Stuart found me a buyer before my house even went live on Rightmove! He is a great communicator both on email and over the phone which is something I value enormously. He went the extra mile to sort out queries and concerns from my buyer. He is professional and also friendly. I never felt I was too much trouble. Contacting the office is easy and the staff are very helpful.

I?m a couple of months late with this review but Stuart and the team did a brilliant job selling our old house and getting us into our new one. We had quite tight timescales but they took it in their stride and made it seem easy. Great service and highly recommended.
