Disappointed with pharmacy staff. I had a prescription from the hospital for chloramphenicol gel (due to an eye injury). The pharmacy staff said they didn?t have it in stock but I could buy the Optrex equivalent off the shelf instead at a cost of around £9 and suggested I buy 2 packs. I have a prepayment certificate I didn?t want to pay this excess cost as I already pay monthly for my prescriptions.
I went to Boots instead and they prescribed the Chloramphenicol (Optrex) gel no problem at no extra cost.
Surprisingly very poor service from Superdrug pharmacy

Thank you Alan and team for looking after Mayvis so well for many years before going into residential care. Lauretta you always gave her some time when you delivered her drugs and to an old lady living alone your visit brought a ray of sunshine and contact with the outside world much appreciated when you are housebound. Pharmacy staff are responsible for this poor review, Alan works his butt off but the majority of his staff hide away behind the meds shelves making customers wait and wait indefinitely unless they are inclined to shout for service, this action brings looks from counter staff when they appear that would do Medusa justice. Almost never a pleasant greeting, All to often borderline rude and dismissive and certainly not acceptable. Touts Pharmacy is exceptional and the exact opposite with fantastic team.

This Superdrug store is usually pretty good but really disappointed with the female assistant serving today. Whilst I was in the queue, an older woman customer pushed to the front and when she was politely reminded by another customer that there was already a queue, she just bizarrely lost it and started ranting and swearing. This older woman was very embarrassing with her outburst, however it was incredibly poor that the till assistant said nothing at all to try and diffuse the situation or inform her of how a queue system actually works.

I was having somr trouble Searching for a product a few weeks back, and each of the workers I requested help from were all so kind and helpful.I initially asked a lady at the door where the product was I was searching for, she had directed me to the rough location I would have found the product, however I was still unable to find it. There I asked for help from a man with short hair and a yellow shirt (I'm not very good with names). Andhe picked the item out for me.As for the ladies serving at the till, one with a beautiful looking (what I assume to be ) hijab and the other with magnificent piercings.A wonderful and straightforward experience only exemplified by the concise information I was given regarding piercings from the beautiful lady at the beauty studio. 10/10 visit :)

I went into Superdrug today as my poor clueless mum had bought me a concealer? she got the right product and shade for the first time! Unfortunately, when I opened the box the concealer inside was the wrong shade. I went into the store half an hour ago (?) and an absolute lovely lady called Sylv helped me! She was absolutely amazing and so kind! I am very thankful as I do struggle in social situations so this made my day! Sylv thank you you?re lovely!!! ?

doesn?t matter where you go , there seems to be a customer first ethos and staff are always extremely helpful and cheerful. I don?t review large companies often but really feel Superdrug need to know what good staff they have. i frequent the stores often all over the country as often travel for work and i consistently get good cheerful service even when they are very busy. The loyalty points system is generous and makes it worthwhile to keep using in store.

Always accessible, helpful and competent. Can be relied upon completely from accessing meds not available in other pharmacies to getting a 'flu jab without waiting.Excellent communication too.Full marks.
