Stunning place.
So much thought has gone into the estate. It worked so well for our family weekend (with the dog!)

A perfect family and friends holiday. We stayed at Silverlake for the second time and we loved every minute of it. The beautiful surroundings are a perfect getaway and the secure setting is perfect to let the kids explore without a worry. We enjoyed all of the activities going on offer from swimming, gym, paddle-boarding, cycling, tennis and football. The staff are all extremely friendly.
Love how close it is to the coast with beautiful beaches just 10 minutes drive. We?ll definitely be visiting again next year!

A fantastic stay in beautiful surroundings. Plenty of activities to do, or just relax if you wish. Will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely stunning location. Loads to do and beautiful properties. We?ve stayed here 3 times in 12 months, in 3 different properties, so we keep coming back. The only problem is the cleanliness of the properties. They are always cleaner when we leave than when we arrive! They hold between £500 and £750 damage deposit, but I?ve no idea how they don?t hold some back from many people. The BBQ is always dirty, even though they ask you to clean after every use (which we do). The cobwebs, spiders and dust are unbelievable and the state of the vacuum cleaners is ridiculous. We?ve had to clean them out before use twice in two different properties. For the standards you expect from the prices, they always fall short. They need to consider a new cleaning contract as it is their downfall and such a shame. We will come again, but will arrive fully equipped with cleaning equipment.

Excellent all around really nothing to say other than a blissful British quality experience.

I've had the best massages with Hannah! She is wonderful--very kind, professional and so good at what she does. Highly recommend!

Accommodation is lovely. Well kitted out, modern, comfortable, and lovely setting.
The shared facilities are a negative though. Pool and spa are nice, but you can?t play tennis (one court that is always booked by people who own properties), hire lake activities (poor set up), or get food.
Would recommend then if you are looking for high quality self catered accommodation.

If you want a nice and relaxing get away then look no further than Silverlake Dorset. This past weekend was our 8th time visiting and we?re already looking forward to our next trip.
From chilling around the Hurricane Spa pool through to paddle boarding and using E-Bikes, you can have as a relaxing or active stay as you like.
There is so much to keep you busy and beautiful walks. You even have a chance to bump into the resident ponies.
Accommodation is extremely high spec and very comfortable. Places sleep from 4 upwards so great to visit as a family or for larger groups.
The new Lido arriving in 2026 will be a great addition to the place however, the new pop-up that serves amazing burgers is well worth a visit.
I?d highly recommended this jewel along the Dorset Coast. Close to Swanage, Corfe Castle and Durdle Door.

disappointing to see from a nature's reserve visit the boards boasting to 'come see the sand Martin boxes in summer's but it seems they're planting hedgerows which willu block all views of the sand martins was hoping to see them make a comeback after they left the site last year due to the construction beside their bank

Horrible from the very first moment.
Speaks of everything wrong in Britain and that's no exaggeration. A horrible thing for horrible people.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Silverlake Dorset! This stunning estate is a hidden gem for nature lovers, families, and anyone looking for a family holiday.
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings, even though the weather wasn?t great. The lakes, woodlands, and meadows create a peaceful, picture-perfect setting. The team here clearly cares deeply about creating a warm and welcoming experience. Everything is meticulously maintained, and it's obvious that a lot of thought has gone into preserving the natural environment while offering modern comforts.
The facilities are lovely, with something for everyone. Our family loved swimming, cycling, playing in the nature reserve,, and visiting the Jurassic coastline. We also enjoyed the Hurricane Terrace, although it had limited choice and was quite small. The future plans for the lido and new restaurant opening next year sound amazing, and we're excited to see Silverlake evolve.
It's the perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and tranquillity.
We can't wait to come back next year.

Very poor as marketed as luxury accommodation??!! Flies along patio doors, ripped net curtains, broken blinds and sofa that the company was aware of but did not let booking customers know about. Ruined my daughter's wedding. accommodation

Update:
In response to your comments, we left on the 26th and therefore it doesn?t seem likely a delay with the bank.
Can you please respond to our emails - it is shame that have to do it through this forum rather than actually just responding to us.
????????
Despite chasing (and confirmation they would release) and subsequently sending 3x further emails we have still not received our £500 security deposit back over a week after staying. Poor customer service and taking money is not a good experience to end our holiday. Very disappointing and would avoid if you don?t want to have spend time and effort after your holiday to get money back.
