Very poor working practices...Bought a walking stick with a dogs head handle..she called the other assistant to remove price sticker and said that's £45 not £4.50 so I got my money back..Felt like I'd been cheated so I WON'T be shopping there again bye Oliver de Figueiredo

Selling for higher prices than eBay? It?s absolutely unacceptable for people who are hard up and need things.
Another scenario,
What if a child wanted a toothless toy? For £30?! It didn?t even cost that new. Has stains, very tatty as you can see in my picture.
I was just shocked by their GREED. I used to work in a charity shop and the best way to make most for the charity is sell cheaper, sell more, less in landfill and MORE turnover. Stop with the pure greed, it?s very ugly.

I just dropped off a few bags of clothes and other items and the lady behind the till and the guy out the back were both so happy and grateful, the shop looks great with a wide variety of items.

The salvation army have helped me and my family several times over the years. Their shop sells top quality second hand items at very reasonable prices, and for a very good cause.

All items at this shop are quality finds. I have often been in and found some items donated in brand-new condition with exceptional prices. The furniture they have come in is reasonably priced and very good quality. staff are very helpful and happy to answer every question I've ever had when I've been in the shop. It's also nice to see full display windows which change seasonally, with wonderful transitions. Bargains to be had here- don't miss out!

I've been to the salvation army many times over the years I've found them to be extremely kind. I have learning disabilities and there always so helpful and patient. I also know as I saw in a previous comment that they sometimes don't except donations I know this can sometimes happen due to items not being able to be legally sold and from experience I know they always are apologetic when this happens. I find there prices to be very reasonable you can always find something I know I do!

Took some donations to the shop, they were very fussy in what they took, I felt intimidated by this. Won't bother again.
