After ordering a few weeks ago thought I?d try ordering again. The food was a great disappointment. Comparing the last order, this one was awful. Lamb biryani was tough and quite tasteless. The chicken tikka masala was dry but sauce was watery. Vegetable curry had hard cauliflower, raw tasting. Onion parathas were also dry and gritty. Not going there again.

Called the restaurant to ask if they will allow a table for 2 at 9:45pm, they said yes. Once arrived at the restaurant the waiter seemed annoyed that we got there, even though it says they close at 11pm. Went to sit us down and told us we have to order immediately as they are closing. If that's the case why could they not just tell us over the phone not to come. So we ordered, and then a fight started in the kitchen between the staff, we could hear everything due to the silence as they turned the music off and their excuse was they didn't know how to turn it back on. After I got up to ask the waiter I don't want them to be upset because we are here so we will leave, which he then replied it was fine take a seat food is nearly ready. He finally gave us our drinks (mango lassi) which tasted sour and gone off. Then the fight started again and this time sounded like someone was chasing the chef around with tools ( lots of clanging and banging until the voices faded) so he must have been chased out the back. Just imagining the state of our food with all that spit from the screaming and if it would even be cooked right we got up and told the waiter we can't take this anymore. I highly do not recommend this place

Treated my partner to a birthday meal.
The food was excellent, really a cut above; and the service friendly.
The poppadoms were tasty and so were the sauces...none super spicy ( but all tasty) which was great.
Can recommend the chicken passanda and mango lassi!
I am not a vegetarian but the options looked tempting!
I liked the classical background music.
It was a BH Monday evening and by 9pm we were the only ones in the restaurant.

Friendly Indian restaurant visited on a quiet Sunday night, recommended by our hotel . Very helpful waiter. Eggplant and chickpea curry was very nice, prawns korma a bit sweet. I like the big papadams they served in the UK, a nice way to start.

Hands down worst curry I've had... order was botched from wrong breads to wrong curries.... what we did have I can honestly say I've had better microwave curries... only in area visiting family ..thankful this is not my local take away and would not waste my time or money here on next visit

Bit disappointing on this occasion. Chicken Tikka Mosala was about 8 bits of chicken swimming in a bowl of sauce. Jalfezi was a bit stewed and not oily enough.

Haven't been able to go to the Rajpoot for a few years as not in area but luckily had the opportunity yesterday and still is the best curry house in Dorset I have recommended to lots of friends and service and quality allways provides here. Presented and served so well allways nice and hot.
