“I love the products already but came into this store as we are on holiday locally (self catering). Clean store, great range etc but the big thing was the young lady running the store who was helpful, friendly and engaged with every customer”

“Great fresh produce, enough choices without being overwhelming, well stocked, lots of offers, prices are good, easy parking, late opening. Most staff friendly, can get busy particularly early evening, other than that it the ideal supermarket. (IMO)”

“Great little store. Has most things and a Post Office too!\\nOdd that they've moved the checkout to the back rather than on the way out though.\\nParking can be tricky.”

“Central to town and convenient for both car parks and bus stops. A reasonable range of products for the size of the store. Store is laid out well and aisles never seem to be congested.”

“An overnight stay whilst in the area. Set in the town of Poundbury (designed by the then Prince of Wales, now King Charles), this pub/hotel creates part of the Queen Mother Square area. The pub itself emits an air of grandeur. Large and spacious, with mezzanine floor plus outdoor seating. Our room was on the third floor. Spacious, with views over the town and Dorchester (approx 2miles away) on one side and overlooking Queen Mother Square on the other. Tastefully decorated, pleasing to the eye. Had our evening meal in the dining room on floor 1. Food was absolutely delicious. Very attentive staff. Staircase leads down to both the mezz floor and pub's bar. Wide selection of drinks (and snacks) available from the bar. Overall, fantastic place to stay. Will certainly recommend staying there to anyone in this area of Dorset. Frequent bus service into Dorchester and also down into Weymouth.”

“Waitrose is the business class of supermarkets. It's a little more expensive than the blue-collar supermarket's, but you pay for quality products and attentive staff. Dorchester town centre store isn't massive but adequate for your weekly groceries. Multistorey carpark below the shop and very close to the town centre. No real negatives apart from the size of the store.”

“Very broad range, good quality products, well presented. Offering price match to likes of Aldi on a few products. But overall a very pricey experience. Most customers having to use self checkout. Dont know how so many users can justify spending ££'s more on their basic shop, versus say Aldi/Lidl, and then claim they're short of money.”
