Frome Kitchens provided a very professional service. We initially had some units that had been upgraded by the previous owner about 3 years ago, so wanted to try and match the colour. Michael did a fantastic job, matching it perfectly and you would never know the units were fitted at different times. Ian the kitchen fitter was a professional at all times, taking pride in his work and did a fantastic job, he is an asset to your company

The transformation of our bathroom was done very professionally. The management put together a smooth plan of actionThe plumbers, electricians and fitter involved worked well together and were always on time. We were very pleased with the result and employed them to install a dishwasher in the kitchen where previously there wasn't one.

We required a wide range of re-modelling work on our apartment in Swanage and asked Frome Valley Kitchens to quote. They provided a comprehensive plan, with indicative drawings for the kitchen, shower room, toilet and for building works and flooring to the bedroom and sitting room. A visit to their showrooms allowed us to finalise the details for all the works.Site visits confirmed the details and a comprehensive project plan with dates and names was issued. Michael handled all of our original questions efficiently and flexibly, whilst the project manager, Eliot, was on hand to resolve any technical issues.The work, including some variations we requested, was completed within the agreed time and the workmanship and materials were first class.We were surprised that they require a 25% deposit on placing the order and the balance paid upon starting the project. As company policy they did provide us with an insurance policy, in case something went wrong, and having had the total payment in advance in no way made them less responsive when small items required attention after the project had concluded.In summary, based on our experience, I would highly recommend Frome Valley Kitchens to provide a comprehensive design and installation service for kitchens and bathrooms.Services: Install flooring

Needed a new kitchen worktop for a large awkward area. FVK came and did a thorough measurement, took photos and produced a quote within the week. The worktop company came out and took a very detailed template and did the fitting shortly afterwards. They were friendly, helpful and did a first class job. The cuts around the cob, chalk block and beams were excellent. I was so impressed with FVK that I decided to use them for doing a new bath/shower room.My requirements for a ?snug? bathroom and adjoining shower room (previously a separate toilet, knocked through) were a challenge to say the least! Michael came out on the Friday afternoon and by Monday morning had produced a design which ticked every single requirement and yet it flowed seamlessly.The whole team, Michael, Dean, Leon and Justin, paid a lot of attention to detail and were very thorough, polite, jovial and trustworthy. Really can?t rate them all high enough and have every confidence in recommending them to people. Thank you FVK for a fantastic job done.

We needed a Wet Room installed for my Mother in Law and at the same time decided to update our kitchen. After searching and taking recommendations from friends we decided to use Frome Valley Kitchens in Dorchester.From start to finish it has been a joy to use them. Their fitters always turned up when they said they would turn up and when they finished each evening they would tidy and hoover up after themselves.My wife and I would highly recommend Frome Valley Kitchens if you are looking for a company that listens and finishes work to a high standard.

In January we moved to Dorchester to live closer to elderly parents. We had a need for a new kitchen in our new extension.My father recommended Frome Valley Kitchens as they had used them for their kitchen.We visited their showroom and went through the whole process of various designs until we finally agreed on one suitable solution that met with our requirements and budget.Frome Valley Kitchens made a schedule for all the works and they kept to it.We now have a fabulous kitchen and have enjoyed many dinner parties where we have wowed our guests.Many thanks to all at Frome Valley Kitchens who made this happen and I trust you all enjoyed the chocolates I dropped off??

The most stressful experience in home improvement we have ever had! We had our family bathroom replaced by FVK at end of January, there are still unresolved issues now in May!A relatively simple out with the old, in with new took weeks longer than anticipated. Their employed trades simply didn?t turn up or spent what appeared to be an hour a day in our home.In addition to this, they were very insistent on decorating(at an added fee), we also asked for a carpenter to fit a new oak door which we supplied at design stage to be told yes no problem. Well, the decorator and carpenter turned out to be the plumbers mate, a handy man who ruined the door and made a mess of the painting. FVK did send trades eventually to put it right but it was a slapdash effort and we were still left with paint on tiles, lights & top of shower head.What was supposed to be a painless experience turned out to be a disaster and we are left feeling less than happy and wishing we never started!We did also have quotes for our kitchen and bedroom at the same time, mercifully we decided to see how the bathroom went first. We will not be going back!Please avoid this shambolic organisation at all costs, they don?t communicate, follow up on anything and think they can get away with poor quality trades, once they have your money!We are now left with a defective shower control and the shower not working properly and having to pay someone else to put it right as FVK have not come back to us.Update 30/5/19-After seeing this review and discovering our emails, FVK came out and replaced the damaged glass shelf and resolved the issue with the shower. However, our experience and feelings still stand. We will not be engaging this company in any further works on our home.

Frome Valley Kitchens have refitted two bathrooms for me, as well as installing a range of bedroom cupboards and updating two kitchens. In every case I have been impressed by their helpfulness and attention to detail in planning and the reliability and professionalism of the installers.
