Nice coffee and cakes if a tad on the expensive side. Not sure about the decor, quite basic, too much of breeze block walls and chipboard for my liking. Dog friendly, but that cuts both ways if you're not a fan of dogs in cafés.

I always call in at FINCA as their coffee and bites are perfect.. well normally but not today! My mother's lemon cake did not taste of anything least of all lemon and it was bone dry.. £3.50 a go it should be perfect..
The upside was that the lady serving actually insisted on giving my mother something else.. so well dealt with.

Friendly staff, extremely good coffee. Poundbury seems plasticky in many places, but here it's solid.

Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Ignored by the lad at till until I managed to get his attention?. Ridiculous uniforms to make it look even more trendy to pay over the top for stale goods. The focaccia bread thing was served cold and like eating an exercise mat.

Always good coffee and sourdough but today?s cinnamon bun was over baked and hard and the fig slice was dry and inedible. What is really annoying on a pleasant day is not being able to drink coffee from a real cup outside. I am 65 and I am willing to pay for any breakage and to clean it up. I hate cardboard cups.

No queuing system, very small cups, no offer of sugar or stirrer and they are kept behind the counter so you wander round looking for 5 mins until you ask and then they tell you it's behind the counter.
Worst of all, the cakes for purchase are open to wasps and flies all day, no plastic covers at all including the gluten free so cross contamination would happen.

Popped in for my usual Flat White with oat milk.
£3.60 on the chalkboard but I paid £4!! 40p extra for oatmilk!

Won't be going back plus it is the smallest cup of coffee in the whole of Dorchester!

dark chocolate tiffin - AMAZING! chorizo focaccia - AMAZING! Coffe was tasty but small cup for price. But overall, great coffee place for a bite.
