Very small now compared to what it used to be. Even the indoor part has shrunk abit. Market cafe great for food.

Surprisingly good general market from bakery, cheese, veg, plants to ephremia like model railways, medals, old porcelain to books. Think the town council is taking control in near future

I love the market it's so friendly and you can sit and have a chat with the burger Van man who's always chirpy and perky. But the bargains you can get. So if you want a good day out then go to the market on a Wednesday and you will see and it's like something else.
OMG today the 2nd July 2025 it was packed and full of people off holiday coaches, I couldn't move jam packed but managed to get my items.
