To be fair we went there for Breakfast so can only comment on the food side, saying that it was very nice. Cooked fresh and hot and waited a reasonable time. Polite staff and reasonably priced.

Average garden centre and generally over priced. This place used to be great, the little restaurant offered lovely food, and the plant variety and price was generally good. Maybe they changed management?

A very mixed bag - staff are really lovely, the cafe is great and prices are reasonable with lots of regular sales. But about half the store is tatty and needs renovating, with holes in the roof and water leaks, and mice/rat droppings in the pet department. They'd be better off shutting these areas away and doing a proper refurbishment than having them open but half empty and so scruffy. It's a shame

A spacious multi department garden centre with a wide variety of departments offering many plants, pots tools and direct garden products plus all sorts of recreational items and a pleasant spacious cafe.
Plenty of parking space and friendly helpful staff.

What on earth has happened to Dobbies? I haven't been for ages but braved the rain and went today, although it meant dodging the water coming through the roof in innumerable places.
There is no excuse for the filthy state of the cafe; stained, dirty furniture, disgusting state of the floor and ceiling, and damaged skirting board hanging off with a large piece of wire wool attempting to fill the gap. To just about to cap it all, beside the table in the window where we were sitting was a ghastly artificial plant with a large leaf missing!
The staff are amazing! I hate to think how they manage to work in those conditions every day, but still remain friendly, helpful and charming. For goodness sake get rid of some of the excess plant stock, reorganise the whole store cleaning as you go, management, repair the leaking roof and give your loyal staff a large bonus, and start again before it is too late! .... only saying ...

Pretty standard garden centre, includes cafe, garden furniture, some outdoor clothing, pets toys and the like. Easy place to spend an afternoon if you're a gardener. I suppose the clue is in the name.
