Visited store, for a top of the range toaster, good range displayed (around 15), yet only 3 cheap & nasty types in stock, the rest not available, told to order online, absolutely pointless as cheaper on Amazon, they saw me & my £120 walk out of the store, all 5 staff standing around chatting not helping & not caring for my business, not the first time Currys has been like this, can't see them being in business much longer.

I had to take my computer for repair and once again they put another hard drive in it. I had to completely set it up again to find that it still has faults. The store operative was helpful but I don?t recommend the know how aspect at all as after it went for repair the first time with a dvd drive problem they changed the hard drive, I lost all my documents and it wasn?t right from the day it was returned!

They say that high Street shopping is dead....but this Currys shows that it's also the out of town retail parks that are on their way out. It has a dire selection of stuff. Shame as we used to love looking at bits and pieces.

Great service today, served by Toby, very helpful and informative. The stock is limited but we found what we wanted and if we wanted other items they could be ordered.

Won't be returning. Rude customer service and disorganised SOP. Whilst I fully accept I should have remembered the warranty was void due to replacing the screen and back over 7 months ago (something that slipped my memory), Currys staff as well as the tech team did not handle the situation well. I brought my phone in for the second time as the battery had been playing up the last few months, and Currys agreed to send it off, informing me it would take 2 weeks for it to be repaired. I return in store after 2 weeks after hearing nothing, asking for an update and an estimate, they tell me it should be done in 4-5 days. I return 7 days later, for there to still be no phone. I ask a member of staff and there is still no update or extra information.Yesterday, 28 days after they shipped my phone off for repair, I receive a call with them informing me that IMEI numbers don't match up, and I was left clueless, with them informing me that parts of the phone are different. I was confused as I assumed this must be a mistake! How could parts of the phone be dodge? I informed the guy I wasn't aware of how this could happen, and was confused as to how, after 28 days later, I am being told that there is a fault and my phone is not repaired, and that I would be in store shortly to pick the phone up. I thought endlessly after the call and then the screen and back replacement dawned on me! Now, granted, this part was totally my fault. An honest mistake on my part. However I have several issues with how currys handled the rest:1. The back of the phone was a different colour to what is stated on the receipt, so if proper checks had been done in store before shipping, this would have been immediately picked up and they could have asked me then and there about any third party repairs.2. The guy on the phone told me the reason it took 28 days is because of this confusion with the parts that don't add up, whichthey had discovered two weeks in! Why had the team not queried me 2 weeks in, rather than making me wait the full 4 weeks to inform me. They had 2 opportunities in which I was quite literally stood in front of them at the store in which they could have asked me.3. When I got to the store I found the young guy that I had spoke to on the phone and went to apologise for the hassle. I explained that I had totally forgotten about the change, and I hope he understands that my tense tone and confusion were from not understanding what had taken place. I apologised for my attitude as my annoyance had come through slightly on the call. Instead of engaging, as any regular customer service employee would, he continued staring directly at the screen in front, not looking at me, clearly not interested in any way. Bare in mind other members of staff have been friendlier in the past, but this guy was rude and dismissive.I am not coming at this with a "customer is always right attitude". I am just stunned it took so long to inform me of the issues they had come into, and that not a single member of staff seemed to inform me until 28 days after. If they had told me 2 weeks in I would have understood my mistake and wouldn't have had to use an old spare phone for so long.After this experience I have no intention of returning to Currys, the whole process felt very unprofessional and disorganised. My business partner and close friends were surprised I had used currys in the first place.

Excellent large electrical and electronic stores. (It belies its modest frontage and is actually vast inside.) Staff are helpful and well-informed, but thankfully not clingy! Good prices, offers and extras. This was our first visit, but we'll be back.

Great helpful staff, absolutely fuss-free experience in buying a TV. Refreshing to buy and take home rather than an impersonal online option involving delivery times etc..Highly recommend.
