Terrible Costa all the hot food was covered up and they said they weren't doing hot food anymore that day this was 1.45pm on a Sunday.
The only sandwiches they had were egg.
On the counter were bags of sandwiches which I thought maybe pre ordered however when I was waiting for the bus some of the staff were at the bus stop with bags and bags of food I can only presume they had written off so they could have it themselves.
The coffee is dearer then from a normal Costa probably because you don't have much choice In the hospital to get food and drink.
If your visiting take your own coffee or if it's in the week use the hospital cafes I avoided the place for the rest of the week which is a shame as I probably would have used it 1 or 2 times a day

I've been visiting my partner everyday & taking him a coffee. They haven't had any sugar for a week. The Cakes are stale. & the staff are rude...especially Sophie. I asked her Politely to remake my coffee as it was very bitter. She went up to the barista. And said I have to make her coffee again. The girl asked why she said because she said so that wasn't the case. And that wasn't what I said to her very rude..

What?s the point of having operating hours if you can?t order anything an hour before close.

Definitely not the cheapest place to have a coffee however very convenient when visiting the hospital.

A nice local Costa. Brilliant on point service with many smiles and a lovely quiet atmosphere. Can't score the food as I didn't order any. But it's the usual Costa food tastes. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Super competent staff handle large volumes of often fussy customers quite effectively. For a big chain, the coffee here is powerful and well presented. Not cheap.

£3.70 for a small cappuccino. Disgraceful, taking advantage of those people who are in the hospital maybe to visit someone and so don't have the choice of somewhere else (yes, sure you've got the cafeteria on the first floor) but not everyone would easily know about that and obviously for convenience Costa has the best location.

Super quick smiley service from Sophie and Martina and the hot chocolate was amazing, thank you. Nice clean store with plenty of seating if you?re having your order in and it?s easy to find on the ground floor of the hospital.

a young boy blew his nose behind the counter infront of customers and continued to make drinks without washing his handsmy drink tasted nice but it put me off it knowing it wasn?t sanitary so i couldn?t finish it and i wasted my money

The servers are lovely , friendly and wonderful to chat to. The iced coffee they made me was lovely and I shall definitely be back for more !!!

Use dirty cups for making the espresso. I asked for a latte and the guy put the milk in the takeaway cup then just threw the espresso wherever ontop the milk.
