On entering Wickes Christchurch for the first time my 1st impressions was not good. On asking where I could find the coping stones I was pointed to the area . I loaded what I needed and was watched by a young member of staff who didn't ask if I needed any help. But when I got to the till Brian was so very helpful. He loaded my car up and gave me advice on cement. Wickes do have a gem working for them and I for one was very grateful for him helping me with the very heavy items. A very grateful pensioner. THANK YOU Brian.

SCAM COMPANY! Having my 10ft kitchen done with wickes, 6 weeks later it?s still not finished and the work man called Nathan has just walked out and started another job. To make it worse nathan has signed off my kitchen as complete knowing it?s far from. Trying to contact anyone to get this resolved is impossible? the only contact is via email through the customer realtions team which has a 8 DAY response time!! Since all the problems have arisen I have been in contact with other victims of wickes and again they have signed off uncompleted work on their behalf which is completely fraudulent and some are now having to go down the legal route. So In a nutshell I?m paying wickes £10k for 10ft uncomplete kitchen because their fitters are incompetent, spend more time smoking than working and now I?m having to live in a building site! Please please take your custom else where otherwise you might end up like me having to take antidepressants just to sleep because my anxiety is sky high from all this stress.

DO NOT USEA bunch of chimps could organise and fit a kitchen quicker then these con artists.Delivery and notifaction of time no existant, rude delivery driver.Kitchen measured incorrect, design not taken properly.

Friendly staff, kitchen design staff very helpful. Plenty of choice. And if something is not in stocks it can be obtained through the click and collect via the checkout.

Wickes installed new en-suite bathroom before Christmas, leaks followed , plumbers returned, leak not fixed , half open plan kitchen ceiling collapsed just after Christmas at 4am, untold damage to furniture etc etc? following this despite dozens of emails, phone calls , no one from Wickes has been round to help or assess damage or fix the leak?.Had to call out the Fire Brigade to advise on our safety.

I live opposite this branch, your burglar alarm goes off once a week at least without fail. It is currently 6am, it?s been going off since 3am. By law it?s meant to go off for 20 minutes maximum for noise pollution reasons etc. How do you not have a managed system ?? I will remove the bell box personally if it keeps happening. Also is there any need to leave all your internal store lights on 24/7 , is that so whoever breaks into this store, that has no managed security can see what they are pinching??

Good to walk about and identify the items needed. Take a photo so able to review at leisure.Plus there is a mobile food van outside for a bacon or sausage sandwich.
