Lovely traditional pub, tucked away but worth visiting. Delicious food and excellent service. Fish and chip deal excellent value on Fridays if that's your thing. Pie was particularly good.

I like this pub and have been coming here on and off for years. The new landlord has spent time and effort tidying the facilities up and redecorating so it feels a bit more homely. Came here for a work lunch and was really impressed. There is a great choice on the menu, the portions are generous, and everything is freshly cooked from scratch. The owner is so friendly and approachable, which made the experience even better. Would highly recommend.
