Big shout out to Sally and Cleo for being prompt as possible to put my little boys lenses in a new Inflex frame as he broke them yesterday. I thought his glasses would need to be sent off but as they had the frames they did it on site so he could get back to wearing them ASAP

I was trying to do my bit for the environment a wanted to reuse an older pair of frames which Specsavers originally supplied but now cannot stock them. I was told no problem and that the cost would be £275 approx. The sales women then came back and said sorry if you are reusing frames then the cost will be £335. What a rip off. Specsavers don't seem to care about the environment and recycling. After I collect these glasses I shall not step foot in another Specsavers again if that is their attitude. It seems to be a case of if you don't spend more money on new frames then we are going to charge you an extra £60. Disgrace.

If you want to reuse your old frames so help the environment, you will not get any discounts that you would if you bought new frames from them.

Had my eye test at this branch, despite clearly stating (twice) that I only wanted the eye test, they still went ahead and carried out the OCT scan and charged me. I even protested as I?m already monitored for eye health by professionals. Not sure if this is a mistake or a crude upsell technique, either way not too impressed. When I collected my glasses the operative bent the hinge on one arm to try and make them fit, not good practice either?will be asking for the frame to be replaced. The only saving grace was a staff member named Sean, who was very attentive and much more customer satisfaction minded.
