I thought that this looked a nice organised kind of company After all if they can make things then they must be able to organise matters and take good care of their customers but alas not so ...I find them rather less than able to put things together....I was enticed to join their points card membership thing that ones pays for and they told me that I was going to get a voucher so I could buy myself something free if charge with the points at Christmas and Birthday Oh great I thought but no t Christmas one dud not arrive wasn't on the card or the email and the other jbevthe birthday one that came at holiday period of time had to be encashed on the day for a gift of five pounds..so there it was ...gone and there was no way to fix it.Thats it then the bonus that should be attached to ones card that even their best adhesive can't get through keep it stuck on long enough.When I rang them they dismissed my call as if I hadn't asked the question of why can't I use my birthday gift after the day and they said I couldn't but had no idea of how to fix it for a client.Pity.

I enjoyed working for Hobbycraft as a company in one of its many stores for over 3 years. I loved my role and was proud to represent Hobbycraft as part of the team.We had a great area manager and a supportive human resources manager also that was approachable and kind always in my time at Hobbycraft.The role itself I enjoyed so much, helping customers going above and beyond reflecting my passion for crafting and running classes when it was my turn to do so . It was fun seeing customers smile and gain confidence in their crafting abilities and be proud of what they achieved. I loved as a colleague christmas period when you ended covered in glitter with customers taking classes .I enjoyed the computer based learning that Hobbbycraft kindly provided to ensured all colleagues had a good understanding of all products and services so the customer was able to obtain good product knowledge to help choose items that are suitable to meet their needs and skill level , but also it allowed employees to improve on their personal growth within the company too. It gave employees the ability to remind a customer of add ons they may need to achieve their project to a professional standard..The format of the training modules were brilliant fun to learn whoever created the learning modules for Hobbycraft , I miss doing them they were so knowledgable and fun to do .I loved the Customer service side of the role , building relationships and gaining loyal customers and promoting the benefits of the Hobbycraft cards for sign up also, always proud of the footfall coming in store with the passion of myself and other colleagues reflecting to customers .Hobbycrafts commitememt to safety of customer and employees was brilliant during covid period and they supported all colleague keeping us updated during lock downs. It was much appreciated how you cared about your colleagues wellbeing during lockdown .The amount of stock was brilliant and very imaginative giving customer a start to a path of potential creativity with the displays within the stores that attracted positive comments from customers.I am grateful for the opportunity that Hobbycraft gave me working for your reputable company and I wish you every success for the future . Sorry its took so long for the review but here it it is ? best wishes for the future .

Went into Cheltenham store on 18th Feb 2022 and only wanted a specific bead set for 8.75 for my niece to find out they stole £1.00 from my debit card that went to hobbycraft pennies. No mention at all during payment this is illegal and breaking the law! I am wanting my money back and am contacting my bank. Hobbycraft you are thieves!

This is one of those reviews that?s not even worth one star.Astonishingly bad service.I would never risk order something from them online.Item not delivered.Refund still pending.Fortunately, it was a small and inexpensive item and I realised how bad the service was before i ordered several hundreds of pounds worth of equipment and materials for my classes.I?m taking time out of my busy schedule to write this and warn others.Pop in to a store, if you have to. Do not under any circumstances risk having something delivered.?????You?ve been warned

I rushed in to hobby craft this evening in a bid to buy some table number settings for a charity lunch tomorrow. Unfortunately the pickings were slim and the numbers only went up to 28. I was going to leave with some measly black place cards for a few quid until I met Gayna. She asked me what I needed showed me some other options and the printing machines we then got overheard talking about needing them settings for charity when a lovely shopper said I have one of those cutting machines I could do them for you. I ended up buying 28 freestanding place settings, foil and some other items the kind shopper was buying by way of thanks. So the great service not only upped my spend but resulted in me getting what I need and by tomorrow morning making a great new contact too in this fellow shopper. Thanks Gayna and team Hurn/ Ferndown
