DFS management would do well to review the staff at this branch. Staff sat reclined in sofas talking about their personal lives while customers browse. When then approached, both disappeared into their central office and resume their conversation. When they finally emerged sarcastic comments about our children in the shop sitting on chairs ? is that not what the show room is for? Limited knowledge on products , turned to their tablets for info? something I could do from home. Then once again another sarcastic comment from the same aging, unhappy sales lady made us leave when we set out to purchase £4-5k of sofas today. If they are unhappy with their job they should leave and let someone younger with more enthusiasm have a go.

I?ve been looking for a nice sofa for a while now, few times I?ve popped in to DFS Christchurch store. There?s one particular member of staff(woman with straight, darker shoulder length hair, wearing glasses) that somehow I?ve found very unpleasant and unfriendly. That?s a shame for DFS to have staff like she?s, I?ve felt ignored, no help or advice.Such an unsatisfactory experience!

Just went for browse to get some ideas of sofas we maybe interested in did approach member of staff who was very helpful & knowledgeable so went away with good possibilities & most importantly measurements. & of course pricing.

Always have liked Dfs, bought our current sofa from there, a few years ago, as did my daughter, who got exactly the same. We are currently look to replace ours.

Sollie was extremely helpful and listened exactly what I needed. Will come back and order from her when I've measured my lounge.Edit after a year of ordering my corner sofa bed:I had originally asked about a sofa bed that would accommodate me sleeping on every night as I moved out of the bedroom so my 2 year old would have his own room and I would get mine in the lounge. 6 months after sleeping on it the mattress went thin and wasn't impressed after paying £2600 for it also the sofa was started to bubble. Dec 2021 had someone come out to look at the bubbling and he said it would go after a year (fine, when April 2022 comes and still like it I will complain!) Then comes down to talk about the mattress he said sofa beds aren't meant to be slept on continuously, as you can imagine I was far from impressed and told him that I was informed that this particular sofa bed was from Sollie was to be slept on every night. I was told the wrong information and now starting to get bad back from it. The mattress has been replaced in Jan 2022 and was told by the guy delivering it that I would need to go to a place that specialises in mattresses for sofa beds to sleep on constantly. I'm not paying out anymore money when I was told the wrong information by a sales assistant. Truly not happy by my experience.

Service was not good we were in the shop for half hour. Look at sofos and when we went to ask for help, there were own three on at the time. I asked for help the service assistant said he was with someone. Si I ask if someone else can help, there was a lady she just walk right by us. Then went out side for a smoke.

Absolute shower. Brought a sofa online, first mistake. Second is knowing about upholstery and still buying from DFS.First week (6 week delivery). Frame sagged in the middle. Two weeks complaining online, sent to Christchurch store who returned me to Southampton, back to Christchurch then online then someone else.Then the oversized cushions which the foam has completely gone needed replacing. Still waiting. And now the frame (built from balsa wood) or something just as rubbish has completely bowed.I've had almost zero contact, so have conducted legal advice and small claims. Can honestly say I'm left with almost £1500 'sofa' which needs putting in the tip.Never, ever buy from this company.

Very friendly service but no beds to actually see in person, had to go all the way to Poole to view a physical product. With so many other bed stores within walking distance of DFS I think they are really missing out on trade

Super friendly and helpful staff. My partner and I had a wonderful experience browsing in store. Staff went above and beyond for us. When we couldn't find what we were looking Sollie jumped into action and took excellent care of us. With her knowledge of products she found us exactly the sofa bed we were looking for in seconds!We chose the 0% finance option and Sollie expland everything in detail ensuring we understood everything, before then proceeding to have her bubbly and friendly colleague come double check everything with us before signing on the dotted line.I can confidently say that DFS Christchurch has a fantastic team who know what they're talking about and with this are able to guide customers to the exact sofa they are looking for. No pressure, no obligations just good old friendly customer service and care. In hopes of achieving 100% customer satisfaction. Gold star service and we are thoroughly looking forward to the arrival of our new sofa bed. Thank you!
