Got the rug doctor from here. They don?t tell you that you need a receipt to bring back with you for you to get your £10 deposit back. This is the only place that does this. And it really infuriates me when staff don?t actually fully explain to you what?s going on. So I lost my £10 deposit due to them not explaining that I?ll need the receipt. Joke.

Went to this store today to get paint. Store was well stocked.
Unfortunately the staff especially Sam were very rude. He ignored us when we got to the till and didn't even offer a receipt. It was like it was too much effort to serve us.

I visited the Christchurch store last week for advice which I was super pleased about- I then had a issue pop up so I went back a couple of days later and explained- firstly spoke to Nigel who was understanding but he directed me to Paul the store manager. Although the outcome didn?t fully resolve my issue they did all that they could to help me. I really appreciated the time and the customer service I received! We use B&Q quite a bit- but never really had an issue before so I was super pleased to know they handle it super professionally. Thank you both for your kindness!

Went here to purchase wood. Had in mind that I could have it cut down to fit in my car. Unfortunately they do not offer this service like the castle point branch. Ended up buying different wood, more expensive so I could get it home. They had what I needed just a shame they cannot offer the additional services that B&Q usually do. Staff were friendly

Absolutely 5 star all the way again ! Andrew and the lovely lady serving in the paint department are prestige in paint knowledge and customer satisfaction 100% ! Do I Look and sound Satisfied? ???????????? This paints a game changer ! Ignore the bad reviews, the bad reviews are from the impatient people who don?t understand how to paint and prepare for the event .

Extremely disappointed with B&Q's customer service and lack of support. I purchased a faulty Candy hob in February (Order # 1037882817) and have been dealing with a nightmare ever since. B&Q initially redirected me to Candy, who offered unacceptable solutions to pay for a care plan or if their engineer consider it is not a warranty fault to pay £160, more than the hob cost, and then failed to respond to my emails . B&Q's online complaint form is also malfunctioning, preventing me from lodging a formal complaint. Despite numerous attempts to contact both companies, I have received no resolution and have been forced to purchase a new hob from another retailer. I have now escalated this complaint to Citizens Advice. I urge B&Q to take responsibility for this situation and provide adequate support to their customers.

Christchurch branch B&Q this morning.
Just popped in to get some information about masonry
paint. I approached a member of staff who just happened to be there. Martin could not have been more helpful. He was not only interested in my quest but went above and beyond to help and advise me. He also personally guided me to the next area that I needed to explore.
My personal thanks and gratitude to Martin, a genuinely nice guy, with a wealth of advice.
B&Q truly do have a true diamond as an employee.
Thanks Martin, I will seek you out again when I'm ready to start my project.

Shop very well stocked. Quiet time.
Went in to collect a order and buy compost. Went to collect postion asked for the item and help with carrying compost. Sammy called for Paul to help me with compost.,then walked off! Why she didn't get my order then I have no idea. She returned after a while and I asked again. Paul was very helpful and polite. 24 years worked there. A credit to the company

Wanted to replace an empty Scottish FloGas gas bottle for the camper. However, it was not possible due to different connections. I asked if I could see a local connection and whether they might also sell adapters for the gas bottles. A young saleswoman and a salesperson said yes and wanted to help me, but an old salesperson kept denying it without checking the system and ordered the younger salespeople not to help me! He made appropriate hand signals that I should disappear towards the door! Horror!

Despite us having to make a special trip to swap a faulty bulb, the gent on the till gave us a 'wow' moment by swapping the one faulty bulb (of a three pack; the other two already in the ceiling after turning the power off etc.) for a fresh three pack - so even if another is faulty, we should still have what we need and not have to go back again. (I have seen another review for a similar bulb where 2/3 were faulty). Even just letting us take the packaging back was a helpful touch as it helped us get the exact match among the vast display. Thank you!
