Just went to do some shoping at 5pm just to find out there were no tills open at all. Everyone was forced to go to self checkout.
Now I understand the ideea of self checkout if you are in a hurry or don't want to wait at the till, but to have no even one till open at 5pm, I found it quite ridiculous, when other stores are actually reviewing their policy regarding the self checkout, heaving more tills open.
You can just do a simple experiment: open all tills and see how many people are going to use the self checkout, and you will find out what people, your customers, really want.
Ultill then, good luck and next time if is gonna be a next time for me, I will just check if there is any till open before I buy anything.

Car park a nightmear when busy, avoid at busy times as it blocks the main island up and stops most of the traffic to the south coast. Always leave via the side road.

Mixture of staff here, some friendly and some very rude. The female sales assistant on the till let a customer in front of me as she was returning something despite me having unloaded my trolley which contained frozen food, she was unable to sort it out so called two other staff members. All three of them took ages to sort it and at no point thought to take her to another till. They finally opened a second till as the lady left. I gently mentioned to the assistant she should of opened another till to deal with the lady and she said I did! Yes after 10 minutes of me standing there!!

Again another ok ?top up store?, fresh bread & rolls selection is particularly good, as is fruit & vegetables with cost savings throughout the store. Often queues to pay.

Hi I'm Josh I'm 13 and I has an Horrible experience I bought i bought something tried to buy something and there was no price tag so I thought the price was on the left or right so I tried purchasing it until I went to the cashier and she said it's 2 pound and 27p I said 2 pound and 27p she then kept making prices up and I said it says it's this much... And she started having a go at me for it being rude about it even though she was trying to make up prices which can be under fraud act she threatened to banned me for no reason she couldn't give me one I said yh whatever sort your attitude out which then nothing happened my chest pains and heart pains flared up and I was in pain because of her stress then at 9pm I reported her to manger who was very Appoligetic and felt bad and surprised her staff did that and in my opinion she was the best person there as she was as well kind and polite about it this lady cashier twisted shit to the manager so now an investigation has started I recommend you go to the other one I'm high street Christchurch in town please don't go here at this Aldi it's really bad

Great supermarket, great prices, just what I?ve come to expect from Aldi but possibly the rudest cashier I?ve ever come across. Made me lift and show under the bags in my trolly ( that I?d bought with me) - didn?t mind that so much but she added that it?s normal practice to put my bags on the conveyor belt ?! I would if I was buying them but not otherwise. Spent the whole time scanning my shopping, looking the other way and chatting to someone in her earpiece. This is the best bit though?..came to pay (by debit card) and the terminal asked for my feedback. Knowing I wasn?t enamoured with her service, she quickly pressed it and it thanked me for my feedback ! I asked her why she?d done it & she said it wasn?t for feedback, she was checking it was working. What a complete load of old boloney :)
Terribly rude service. Needs to learn to smile & engage with customers instead of treating them like criminals / inconveniences !

Products are coming in now and prices have come down a bit. A bit of Q when paying. There are a few offers too and shelves are now filled but there is still staff shortage and aisles full of product. Nearly most of the products are better priced compared to Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury and other supermarkets. The manager is amazing and very helpful. It is suitable for anyone who wants to get their daily shopping needs. Thank you and have a great day ??

If you're looking for somewhere to get cheap-ish food in your local area, Aldi sure does the job. A pipe burst and got water everywhere once, but it was outside the shop (though on the building) and passers by could see it gushing for hours. It was fixed after a few days.
