Popped in with no booking, and they managed to squeeze us in.A homely feel and a real fire created a lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing. The car park is very tight and not huge, so take care and turn the car ready to leave if you have the space when you arrive!I will definitely return...Food & drinks: Amazing food

We were invited to The Greyhound to celebrate our friend's wedding. We were made to feel immediately welcome, Thea was an amazing host and is a credit to the pub. The food and drinks were amazing and I would recommend a visit. Thea even took the time to take some impromptu photos to celebrate our day. Thank you for a great day.

We called in en route to Weymouth for lunch and what a delight it turned out to be. Super and interesting food - loved the seafood bouillabaisse - served in a charming pub with friendly hosts. A particularly enjoyable lunch.

Good service, nice food and friendly people.Food & drinks: Sunday lunch just before Christmas week was a busy time for them, and there were 10 adults in our party. Everyone enjoyed their pre-ordered meal, and there was plenty of everything. Roast potatoes and roast parsnips were a little firm but didn't deter us, Yorkshire puddings were delicious..Service was excellent we would certainly come here again if we are in the area.

Excellent meal with great service. A slightly higher price than you may pay for food elsewhere but definitely worth every penny.Roast beef on Sunday is highly recommended and portions are very generous. Sensible prices for a decent glass of wine too.

Attended the Greyhound Sydling for a family Sunday lunch. The service was good, however, the turkey dinner was not so good. There were no starters suitable for vegetarians, and the of the four on offer two were fish based. The cheap vegetables (no pigs in blankets or sprouts at Christmas!) had been only shown the hot water! Although the turkey roll, stuffing, and roast potatoes were OK. Parsnips, carrots, cauliflour, and broccoli need cooking, even in a cauliflour cheese. Tip for the chef! The deserts were also a little odd. Advertising a fruit crumble with no crumble but musili on top, and a cheese cake deconstructed consisting of cream. In all, it's was not a good dining experience!

First time here. Had dinner for a friends birthday. Had a brilliant evening. The ambience is really lovely and cosy. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We all really enjoyed the food. I?d describe it as elevated pub food. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here as our parent was in Dorchester Hospital. Had a lovely stay and was made to feel really welcome. The rooms were lovely, warm and cosy and had everything you needed. The pub serves a lovely breakfast and we also had Sunday Roast. Nothing was too much trouble and we really enjoyed our stay.
