Went today to buy latest Ann Cleaves book that was advertised in Radio Times with a discount voucher. Was approached by a female assustant who did not seem to know anything but a male assistant stepped in and went to check if it was in stock. Came back shaking his head. No apology, no mention of if it was expected. Just no concept of service which I have found to be the case at this shop in the past which is why I do not normally shop here.

This store goes back a longer distance then you would thing from the front, however it is in comparison to other Smiths shops smaller so there are a lot of ranges that are not stocked here, but if you want those ranges you can visit Weymouth locally for the bigger store there. Other than that is is a superb store to visit

Visited here on Monday 4th September 2017to purchase a book of 12 first class stamps. I was served by Catriona who was very pleasant. On returning home I noticed that I had been given a book of six stamps instead of the12. Today I returned to the store and explained what had happened ,and Catriona being the professional person rectified this immediately.
I would definately recommend W H Smith in Bridport,not only for the pleasant staff but also for their honest.
