Although they double booked my appointment which meant booking another appointment a few weeks later, I was very impressed. Mistakes happen. They owned up immediately and apologised. At the rebooked appointment they remembered their mistake and made amends with a nice gesture on my new glasses. They turned an adverse situation into a chance to make things up - and they did.

Specsavers Bridport - We cannot thank Chris Newall and his staff enough for today, whilst on holiday with a sore eye, fearing an infection, Chris examined my eye, went above and beyond to reassure me that it was just a scratch on my eye and gave me amazing advice. Thank you for the wonderful service very much appreciated.

I have used this outlet for many years and received very good service on the whole.
Today however I received a letter to my wife saying:
WE'D LOVE TO SEE YOU SOON.
So would I, she passed away suddenly last year which was reported to the outlet.
Sadly this unforgivable error is common with many companies, I either wrote or phoned over dozen of them saying my wife had passed away but am still receiving either appointments or advertising.
Lossing my wife suddenly after 57 years of marriage was extremely traumatic so please, anyone else who informed a company of their loss and are still getting messages or phone calls put a posts on their site until they get the message that this is very distressing.
