“Comfortable lounge area for morning coffee or pre lunch drinks. Well presented Dining Room and a first class Sunday roast for 6. However the dessert chosen by 3 of us was a disaster. Advertised as a Roulade but was a slice of Swiss roll filled with a disgusting synthetic sickly cream. No meringue whatsoever. Disappointing end to a meal.”

“A little gem of a place, beautiful decor, very clean, amazing hosts and a delicious breakfast. We arrived a little early and brought hot food with us, they welcomed us and provided everything we needed to enjoy our lunch. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough would give 10 stars ⭐️ if I could. “Had a fantastic stay, from the moment we booked in the staff were amazing. So warm and friendly. The room was gorgeous with a lovely view. The breakfast choices were very good and the room has all the facilities you could need. My favourite part was the pool! Highly recommend.”

“The hotel requires further investment to upgrade facilities and renovate the lounge, bar and eating areas. However, people are always the most important asset in the service industry and on this metric, the hotel performs well. The girls connect easily with the residents and exhibit a natural, genuine, charm. I liked the unpretentious feel about the place.”

“Small Wetherspoons, rather tired and down at heel. Could do with a refurb. We had breakfast which was OK, as usual one coffee machine out of order! No staff about had to hang about for service.
