I have been going here since I was a small child and I am 43 now when it use to be I J Brown's believe when I first started going it was even in a different location and Mr Bevin was the optometrist. Alot has changed since then but the service has not. Beverley, Jackie, Ashley and the whole team there are wonderful. Now I have kids I take them there too because when it comes to yours eyes and my kids eyes there is no one I trust more.

Probably the most thorough eye examination I have ever had. Ashley was polite and professional throughout and talked me through every procedure and result. His support staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. I would happily give 10 stars if they were available!

Having picked up an eye infection in both eyes I used an over counter medication which worked but still my eyes were very sore and red.I contacted Friths who managed to get me a next day appointment. I saw Ashley who was kind, courteous, helpful and above all professional.It is comforting to know that we have such a professional in our town.

Todays eye tests for my wife and myself were excellent by Chloe. All our questions were answered in a detail that we could understand. Becky and Bev did an excellent dispense and helped us chose ideal glasses from a wide selection of frames. An excellent team who obviously enjoy their work together. After my glasses broke whilst away on holiday I gave the shop a call. Surprisingly the phone was answered before they were open. Lots of free advice, then after a visit to the shop I was sorted. Super helpful. If I lived here they would be my chosen optician.
