The hotel requires further investment to upgrade facilities and renovate the lounge, bar and eating areas. However, people are always the most important asset in the service industry and on this metric, the hotel performs well. The girls connect easily with the residents and exhibit a natural, genuine, charm. I liked the unpretentious feel about the place.

We booked a weekend break some weeks ago and we were not disappointed.
Fantastic location, superb service , comfortable clean rooms with flat screen TV, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, hair dryer and welcome complimentary cakes on arrival.
The first evening we decided to eat in the bar which was great and the second night we dined in the restaurant . The food was first class.
Syed & his team made us very welcome.
Ample free parking too.

Our second visit here was just as good as the first - really excellent all round. Food, service and rooms were all first class. There had been a mix up with our room allocation so the walk in shower we required wasn?t there. But we were informed in advance of the mistake and were moved after the first night to a different room. We certainly hope to go again before too long.

Stayed there whilst on a small family get away, we had a family room with 2 adults, 1 child and a dog. The room squeezed a cot in the corner between the wall and the bed with no room around it. The Hotel room furniture very dated, walls weren't fully decorated and dirty. Bathroom shower has very low pressure and could do with a refresh. At night, we could hear the TV of the people staying next door. The photos they show online do not reflect the rooms or the outside of the hotel.
Rooms: Very outdated, half decorated and seemed messy.

Having stayed before when the previous owners were at Eypes mouth, we wanted to see how much had changed with the new owners. We were welcomed by a wonderful member of staff.
The food, service and staff were all definately 10/10. I have never tasted such well cooked steak which i had on two occasions.
We had a standard refurbished room on the ground floor with a sea view.
The room was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed with cake which was a wonderful addition. The sea view was very special.
We would definately stay again but would opt for a superior room for the extra space. We found having someone above us rather noisy as they were stomping around and we could also hear them talking until late at night.
There is ample parking and a terrace to have a rest and a nice drink.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff, excellent food & lovely sea views. The road down to it is narrow in places so don't rush. There I'd plenty of free parking when you arrive & we were greeted by friendly staff. We booked a table in the restaurant in advance & ordered from the table d'hote menu. You are emailed the menu for that on the day & need to email your pre-order by 4pm. Our room was beautiful with a 4 poster bed & had recently been refurbished. We had a coffee machine & a covered dish with 2 small pieces of cake baked by the chef was on the desk. The bathroom was clean & functional but not in the same style as the bedroom & the shower wasn't the best. We had a view of the sea & the coastal path though and slept well. Dinner was amazing as it had all been cooked to order & the wine list was very reasonable. Breakfast was again cooked to order so expect it to be leisurely. It was a great way to start the day though & I can recommend the eggs benedict which were perfectly cooked. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you.

A beautiful location overlooking the sea, with the beach a short walk away. Staff were first class with customer service from the minute we arrived. Abbie the Duty Manager was very professional and everything we asked about was handled with no issue, from our request for decaff coffee pods to having dessert in our room. We booked the Junior Suite, which has a hot tub on the patio. The room was spacious and newly refurbished by the look of it. The view is spectacular from the room, private patio and hot tub! We had dinner in the restaurant on both evening s we stayed. You pre-order your restaurant meal by 4pm each day, meaning you have the anticipation for a few hours; an added bonus! The food was beautifully presented and delicious (I'm very hard to please so that's high praise). If you don't like the idea of pre-ordering, you can eat in the bar restaurant or on the terrace, which is just as nice, but you don't get tablecloths as in the restaurant. All the staff were so attentive and helpful, parking was easy. A really magical few days away and we will definitely come back

I really enjoyed my stay at the Eype?s Mouth County Hotel. Weather was amazing so it was extra good that there is a short walk to the beach and on our return we could relax on there terrace and enjoy a few cold drinks. Room was good size and had a nice style with great views of the sea, the highlight of the stay was the food. Breakfast was made to order and was really tasty but best of all was the late dinner we?re had at the hotel really stood out from others we been to( Steak )I would definitely return for another visit. Highly recommended.
Rooms: Rooms where stop less and finished to a high standard we had one with an old style bed was a good experience.
Walkability: Short walk down to the beach or to the next town for sightseeing or food
Food and drinks: Great breakfast made to order & dinner was really high quality

Tranquil place. Down the road from a pebble beach. Several hiking trails to investigate. Great staff. Wonderful restaurant.

As ever, we were warmly greeted (by the delightful and charming Luna)as a repeat customer and thrilled to be back at Eype. We could only stay for one night but thoroughly enjoyed the experience once more. Our room had been refurbished; the furniture, soft furnishings and colours were modern and in perfect harmony plus we had a large bright and airy bathroom. Dinner was relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed our menu choices. Sadly, we had to be on the road after breakfast but noted the continuing improvements and upgrades throughout the hotel. Well done Syed, Abbi and team! We are really looking forward to our next visit. ? ?
Rooms: Comfortable and well-appointed and maintained to a high standard. Spotlessly clean and tidy.
Nearby activities: The whole of the Jurassic coast!
Walkability: Easy access to the South West Coast Path. Further circular walks available from the hotel.
Noteworthy details: Unique situation on the landscape. Charming friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble.
