Poor from start to finish. Unable to pay for parking due to machines being down and app stating car park full. Even though im parked in it!!! Room was dirty, still had items from previous occupant in tbe bin!!
Waited over 60 minutes for my food order, only to be told the printer wasn't working so my order wasn't received in the kitchen. Cancelled meal asked to speak to the manager only to be told there was nobody available.
Overall this is one of, if not THE worst Travelodge stay ive ever had.

Wonderful stay. The towels were so soft and fluffy. That's our signature touch ?

We have stayed at this venue quite a few times our recent stay being this weekend 5th to 7th September. Although this was only a short stay this time we always try to stay here as our daughter lives with her partner in Bournemouth we live in Chesterfield. We can not praise Thomas and his staff enough. They have always been helpful and accommodating to all our needs. Keep up the good work. See you all next time ?

Really good stay. Comfortable king size bed, quiet room on 3rd floor and kind, helpful staff.
Didn't expect this for the low price! Unusual to have a bath too.

Most of the staff were nice but the manager was not nice?he was rude to us and dismissed us compare to other customers. During breakfast he was asking everyone else how everything is and if rent need any thing but he didn?t bother to ask us the black family. So it makes us feel uncomfortable around him.

Horrendous stay, dirty, smelly poor service!!! Typical of Travelodge. If only I could book elsewhere with my employer!

The room itself was spacious but the cleanliness of the bathroom was awful. Broken and rusty pedal bin, slow drainng shower, which had a brown stained shower curtain. The bed was hard, as were the pillows and the TV remote did not have a back, so the batteries kept falling out.
The room was very cold despite putting the very small, in room heater on.
The breakfast was very nice.
Parking was limited (I guess beyond control) but hotel is a short drive away from the beachfront.
Fellow travellers also found the rooms very cold and the bathrooms not maintained well.
Very costly for what was provided.

We stayed at the Travelodge Bournemouth very recently and will not be going back. Upon arrival into our room we found there were no clean towels, just a dirty one hanging up in the bathroom from (we assume) the previous guest. My husband went to reception to let them know who said they would send someone up. 20 mins later I called down asking for towels and they said our room is on the list needing towels as there are other rooms who have been left without towels. A short while later a staff member came up, apologised and said due to a miscommunication with housekeeping, there are no clean towels left at all in the hotel other than a large one we could have between the 3 of us. We agreed and was told as soon as new ones arrived, we'd get some. Next morning we checked with reception who had new towels so we managed to get 3.
As we visited when it was hot weather, we went down to reception the same evening to use the vending machine. The card reader on the machine was not working and it did not accept coins so our only option was to buy cans from the bar area. The vending machine had 500ml bottles priced at £2.50 each, however when we bought 2 regular cans (1 pepsi and 1 sprite) the total was £6.48!
We also left a sign on our door asking for a top-up of towels and toilet roll on our 2nd day. We then left around 10:30 a.m and when we got back in the evening there had been no top-up in our room.
Our son's bed had food under it from the previous visitor which obviously hadn't been checked by the cleaners when they were getting the room ready for us.
Downstairs in the basement car park there is a box where guests can leave their returned key cards. However this seems to be a breach of security as the box is left open allowing anyone to walk in, pick up a key card and potentially enter anyone's room.
We paid £10.45 extra each for breakfast when we booked but the breakfast option was limited for vegetarians.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Service is terrible and staff are rude. During my 2-day stay, no room cleaning was provided, and the receptionist even said cleaning is only done after 7 days. Completely unacceptable and very poor service overall.
By the way the towels was damaged also

Great travelodge. We had 2 small dogs and had a great visit to Bournemouth. Lodge was clean and tidy with pleasant staff.

We will definitely not visit ever again. I booked a quiet looking room in advance for extra, that was assigned for someone else before we arrived, then I was assured that we'd have a quiet room, but it was definitely the worst and loudest room we ever got. Was looking at the parking and was right next to the lift. It was absolutely noisy of people talking and banging the doors and trucks collecting laundry, etc. The view was also terrible as they left the laundry for hours in front of our window, which was the smallest of all windows. Room number 5 you might want to avoid...and all of the ones looking at the parking. Also we had extra beds in there that we asked them to remove, but they said it wasn't possible and was trying to make out like we should be grateful for getting a 'quiet' room out of two rooms that was left, despite my previous payment towards a pre booked room. The receptionist were really not helpful or friendly, which I understand as they work as receptionists and bar tenders as well, so they are overworked, but some simple kindness would have been lovely. The only good thing is the location and that you can bring your dog. You don't even get cleaning until day 6... I would not recommend this Travelodge at all to anyone. Bournemouth was lovely at least.

Dreadful.
Dirty toilets in bar area ( on both of our different visits)
Our room smelled like bin juice, and we couldn't get moved as it was full.. 1 am in the morning, so no other option.
Breakfast was pretty awful for £10.95.
The area and dining room were far too crowded and hot for you to enjoy your food.( No windows to open and ventilate the area.
Took three cups, all dirty, rinsed one under the hot water boiler!!
The poor staff were sweating .
Whole place is dirty.
Staff were nice enough, but, unfortunately couldn't help us with the smell.
( Couldn't even open the window in the room wider)!!!
