Went to get some keys cut yesterday,. Shop opening hours shown in the window were 9am to 5.30pm. Arrived at 3.30pm to find a locked door and a sign up saying they'd just popped out and advertising a 10% discount for anyone who waited until their return. I waited for at least 20 minutes but no one arrived during that time. At that point I had to leave, but I went back at 5.05pm, only to find the door locked once again and the same sign in the window. I have no idea if they'd opened the shop during the interim period, however I waited for another 10 minutes, by which time I gave up. What's the point! Thanks for wasting my time and 2 journeys. Think you need to update the wording on your sign to more accurately describe the circumstances.

My go-to Timpson. I've had heels, soles, keys done and have been totally satisfied with the service. It's a good job, promptly done to whatever timescale he tells me.

I came for two things. The first was some shoe polish which the person couldn't recommend which would be best for my shoe. Then I asked if they could engrave a trophy as they do engravements but they couldn't do it even though it was a simple plaque... apparently the machine wasn't able.

Went in to have a minor break on my car keys and thanks to holding onto spare key parts it was fixed on the spot. Friendly and great customer service. Would highly recommend

Brought a quality pair of second hand boots in. Was told "ive never seen boots with nails or screws before, not sure why they would do that"Clearly knows nothing about quality boots. Take your business elsewhere.

Very disappointing, took pair shoes in last year, told plastic sole and glue will not hold. Purchased adhesive from Amazon, repair still holding. Took 2nd pair in this week for new sole and heel, told heel worn down too much to repair. Took to another shoe repairer in Bournemouth, did great job, rebuilt heel. Boscombe branch could do so much more for customers if they bothered and had can-do attitude
