Absolutely appalled by the treatment I received at Sports Direct Bournemouth today. I went in simply wanting to try on a few items ? nothing unusual ? and was shouted at by a member of staff for having more than three items. The woman working there spoke to me like I was doing something criminal, speaking in a rude and aggressive tone in front of other customers.
I understand stores have policies, but there's a way to communicate them respectfully. Being spoken to like a child ? or worse, a thief ? is not acceptable.
Teach your staff some basic manners and customer service skills. I left without buying anything, and I certainly won?t be coming back.
Avoid this store if you want to be treated with a shred of decency.

Absolutely awful! Do not buy there! I tried to return a pair of shoes I bought just three days before and was told I can only get store credit! I tried talking about my problem with customer support online but they were totally not helpful and before helping me decided to end the conversation! I will not buy there anything ever again and I encourage you to do the same! Not worth it you can get there same things at stores that actually value their customers

Worst sports direct iv ever been to in Bournemouth the women on the till was so rude and very dismissive been in loads of stores around the country and never once had such a jobsworth all my partner wanted to do was try a pair of pants on you would think I'd asked her for the takings out of the till certainly needs training in customer service skills

Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience during my visit to Sports Direct in Bournemouth. When I went to the first floor to try on a jersey, the lady working there addressed me in a disrespectful tone, calling me ?amigo? in a way that felt racially insensitive, simply because of my appearance. I am not Latino, and regardless, no customer should be treated with such bias.
When I said I didn?t like the jersey, she responded sarcastically, implying I was wasting her time?as if I?m obligated to buy every item I try. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Thankfully, I had the chance to speak with the manager, who was very professional and kind. She listened carefully to my complaint and assured me that the issue would be addressed. I truly appreciate her understanding and response, but I hope the staff receives better training on how to treat all customers with respect.

Went in spots direct in Bournemouth just to get a Christmas present . The woman behind the till called Virgina was so rude . She spoke to us like rubbish . Don?t know how she can get a job working with the public because she has no customer service skills . Been in there twice and she has been bloody rude . And nasty both times . If they don?t get rid of her you will lose customers. I was so angry that she treated us in such a manner

I buy of Tommy jeans as a gift from a friend at Direct Sport and the jeans came with a defect or the material is rubbish. I do not recommend anyone to go through this and the manager and service are regrettable, I do not recommend Direct Sport Bournemouth Town

Worst experience ever.Received a gift from friends bought in sportdirect. The shoe size was 44 but I wear 45. Went to the shop to request an exchange to a 45. The store manager said that they cannot order it if they don?t have it in stock and I need to order online. They guarantied that the size is true to a 45 and it is in fact also written on the website. The online order makes you pay for delivery 5£ no free option to be pick up in store for free.I received a 45 shoe as ordered but impossible to fit in. Very small, not true to fitting size at all!I complained to costumer service and request at least a free return but I was told that I got what I ordered so even if my 45 foot doesn?t fit in their 45.3! shoe then it?s my problem and I should pay 5£ to send it back.Basically lost 10£ for a gift! And end up with nothing but a credit store money which I will spend and never order from them again. Worst experience in any outlet I had so far. Stay away from sport direct online orders if you are unsure about a product. It will cost you otherwise. Terrible service.

Shocking customer service. Went in at 9:15am to get trainers for my daughter. Asked for a foot measurement and service. Waited 30 minutes and not one member of staff came to help, after asking twice in that time. Second time this has happened, definitely won?t be shopping in here anymore. There were only 2 other people in the entire shop!

Store Location change - near River Island and Primark up the highstreet!!!Visited today and left feeling very frustrated. Wife accidentally spilt some water on the floor (these things happen) and she was greeted by a very rude employee. She was middle aged, has tattoos and brown hair... Also very rude to me about the way I put clothes back on the rack (I think anything would have got on her nerves to be honest).The lady gave the worst customer service I have come across in my life and that's saying something. I hope the manager reads this and encourages better customer service in the future....Rant over.A different lady with blonde hair (served at the downstairs tills) was polite, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend going to her!
