Visited the branch this 9.35am , this was on the advise of a lovely lady I had spoken to on phone the afternoon before.
The guy at branch I spoke to with no name tag visible, bald head glasses elderly was of no help what so ever. Explained that it was security policy you now need OTP to log on to your online account. That this was a national thing instigated by security division and could not be altered on any account.
Bearing in mind I am a 73yr old with little knowledge of laptops and mobile phones I felt intimidated belittled by a guy that was not that many years younger than myself.
I have since made a formal complaint of his actions at 10.16am this morning to Complaints Division on the phone.
Maybe Santander should consider a better training programme for there front of counter staff.
All in all this experience of visiting the branch has left me mortified.

Visiting Bournemouth, needed to deposit some cash on a couple of occassions. The staff in this branch have really poor customer service skills and are down right rude. I have had to explain in detail to them why i want to carry out my transactions at the counter, rather than use the machines, despite there being no queue.
They act like bouncers at the front of the branch, filtering out those who they don't like the look of. I obviously fit the criteria of an undesirable, even though I have banked with them for over 40 years. If I'm handing over money to anyone, I want to hand it over in plain sight, not put it into an envelope for the staff to riffle through at their leisure, where there are no cameras.
Customer service in this branch is the worst I've experienced in any bank. I'm not surprised ive witnessed customers swearing at them when they are so unhelpful, pushy and downright rude.

Do not need an appointment to discuss your banking needs. I always get satisfaction here. Nothing is too much trouble fir those who work here

I have been visiting this branch for 2 years and all the staff were so friendly and the service was outstanding but during my last visit I was served by Hollie who was so rude. Even the customer before me was upset and left the branch angry. I don't understand why such people are even hired when they can't even smile to make someone's day better but instead look miserable all the time. Hope i don't see her when im there next

Went down before 3pm to withdraw cash. No sign on door to say they're closed or on reduced hours for today. Saw employee inside who shook her head, shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Useless.
