I came into this store this store 05/10/24 around lunchtime for a packet of jam tarts. I have had the flu for a week and have been extremely unwell, im a 45 year old mother of 3 and I?m aware that on this day I didn?t look my best, anyway I walked into the store grabbed a basket walked into the first isle which I think was salad and cakes, looked at the cakes for a bit but the store didn?t have what I wanted so I put my basked back and walked out. As I walked out I heard a bell ring and I was standing by the door ( not running away like a thief) and a young lad stuck his finger in my face in front of the whole store and said WHAT THAT ONE ? Good job I?m white really coz I dont think your supposed to say that anymore but I?m presuming he meant that junkie, I walked back in said I wanted jam tarts which weren?t in stock lifted my jacket and gave a twirl just to prove I had nothing, at which point the apologies started and the excuses about how many shoplifters you?ve had lately, which is your problem not mine. Anyway I was made to feel small, ugly & dirty in front of all the customers and when I walked outside I got into my car and cried for 15 mins, so if your having an off day or you dont feel like putting your make up on or have a serious illness which makes you look a bit ropey and you dont want to feel worse about yourself maybe give this store a wide birth.
To the staff : For the record the shoplifters generally go for alcohol and meat not bananas and Cherry Bakewells . I hope you all have a great day now you?ve ruined mine

The staff are amazing but the security gaurd wasn't very respectful. Made me feel slightly uncomfortable. It seemed to be the girls he's very interested in.

This time I?m missing 4 large cravendale Milk.
I get groceries delivery from here often.
Literally every single time it?s missing items I?ve paid for.

Second time I arrive at this Sainsbury?s with at 9:55 to be turned away by the staff because they decided to close earlier than advertised.The staff member didn?t even bother explaining m, just shut the door in my face and walked away, even though I?m basically a daily customer, shop there at least 5 times a week. This will change now, nothing turns me off a place faster than bad customer service. The staff member in question had a mullet and glasses, he did this while it was basically hailing outside, didn?t even care, beyond disrespectful.

Since online orders started taking priority over paying customers in store the service has really dropped, too many people wondering about while queues of customers left to stand and wait sometimes 10 mins without any staff jumping on a till, unacceptable :(

Adam was a very good employee, really good customer service. The way he scanned the items was crazy skill, i dont know how he does it every time. Will be coming back just for him , really fast , really clean.

Items from order had been overloaded so bag broke in my hallway so had to individually take items to my kitchen and coffee which could of been substituted had the item I most wanted was taken off instead.

Quicker then going to Castlepoint but this store really stinks and the queues are always long. There needs to be self service tills and separate Argos collection.
