Arrogant american scam artist.Warning to all non pc literate customers, Avoid this man. .I asked him if he could just plug my graphics card into a machine to check if it would POST. He wanted £10 for it.This is a 30 second job requiring nothing but a screwdriver. It is more work for a newsagent to weigh candy. £10.He tried to make out it was complicated to "open the machine up" and "plug it in and all that",........He obviously didnt realise i have been building pc's for 15 years myself, i just stared at him in disbelief as he tried to tell me it was complicated to plug a graphics card in.AVOID AVOID AVOID!Any computer REPAIR SHOP who says it is "complicated" to "open a machine up", (who even HAS to open a machine up, as any self respecting repair shop always has numerous machines open ready for testing) is not worth his salt! most repair shops will do this for free, or ask for £5 max!I dread the think of how much he'd charge for any real pc repair work. Probably best off just buying a new computer!Im tempted to call trading standards just for that quote because i know some poor nannies and granddads will have been taken for a complete ride by him.
